CROSS FORUM NRL Round 1 - Las Vegas

Looks like Parra are throwing their hat into the ring for the wooden spoon

@Sproj i can’t remember if Melbourne were in your form guide or if you were only doing teams that had actually played.

If not, you might as well go and put Melbourne in the top 2 already

Yeah you will notice neither team added yet and only three teams in the top four - this is the other expected one. I was more interested in where to put Parra.

Seriously though, Melbourne as always are laying all over everything, walking through the ruck, standing in the line, offside on kick chases and getting called for none of it. Anything Parra do slightly like it - penalty Melbourne.

Parra's attack is absolutely awful though, they have no idea whatsoever to do with the ball in hand other than give it to Lomax.

Two things are clear for Parra though pretty early:
1. Iongi looks a real talent
2. They need to be pushing Brown to sign that Newcastle deal

Storm are winning nearly every tackle on both sides of the ball.

In attack their forwards are pushing through, onto front, rapid ptb.

On defence, eels are getting bent backwards, onto backs, and slow ptb.

This looks exactly as predicted, a first vs last match up.

Impressive by Coates but come on Parra winger, at least make it difficult for him.

It looks even worse on replay, what the heck was the Parra winger even doing? He didn't even try to do anything at all to stop that from happening.
