NRLW NRLW Brisbane Broncos Discussion

One of the all time greats, a good time for her to bow out from rep footy as I thought she looked a little off the pace at Origin level last year. Hopefully she can focus on going out with b2b NRLW premierships!!!

It’s more a symptom of the girls being made to put on an Origin spectacle as the first games of their year, Ali’s age just exacerbates it.

We’ve seen she gets better as she works into a competition, both for the Broncos and Jillaroos for a World Cup

Until they start playing NRLW before origin, they’ll always be a bit rusty as they only have pre-seasons and training camps

Good call.

She's too much past her best to still be elite in Origin when she hasn't had any games before the series starts.

She's still good for the Broncos, as Allo said, she gets better as she works into a comp. She doesn't have that luxury in Origin.

Hell of a career.

Georgia Bartlett and Amanii Misa upgraded to the top 24 squad.

Bartlett contract extension until end of '27.

Two year deal. Her son is only 4 months old so it will be interesting to see how much she plays this year after coming back from that

That’s a huge get.

A lot of Titans fans are pissed because she signed a long contract with them until the end of ‘27 initially but then had the year off with pregnancy and was granted a personal reasons release in September to move an hour up the highway

Indie Bostock has been granted a release from the Dragons on compassionate grounds.

Theory is she wants to move back to Queensland to be closer to her partner Tevita Naufahu who plays for the Dolphins.

That pretty much leaves two options. Us or Titans. There is the Cowboys but seems kind of pointless to get a release from the Dragons on compassionate grounds to sign for a club where she would be further away from her partner than what she would be at the Dragons.

Would any of you take her? She's a centrre but can also play wing and I can see Johnson leaving at the end of the year, to be honest.

I could see her at the broncos and ill have her playing for us

I can almost hear the cries of despair from other NRLW fans from here if we happened to sign her

Outside of her being a name, I haven’t paid too much attention to her to be honest

While we definitely need an outside back or two, I think she has Titans written all over her for some reason.

Hold on, if it causes whingers down south to whinge, let’s sign her up!

She’d be an incredible get, strong and agile ball carrier. I would get the wider new sentiment if we do snag her, and titans need much more personnel than us but probably not backs. She’d probably much rather be in Brisbane to be close to her partner and brother in Redcliffe.

Wonder if we could free up say a Tara McGrath west or similar to the titans and snag her. She’d fill hufaga’s spot more than ably and allow Robinson to hopefully go back to the wing, maddick to bench at best.

Big blow in going back to back

Hicks and Misa will get a lot more game time at least

**** that's a massive blow.

Hopefully Hicks hits the ground running this year. We'll need her.
