Maddick has played 6 for the Falcons, but she’s off-contract so I think we move on from her. The good thing for her is she had her best year this season so the Titans might throw her a contract so she can stay in SEQ

My only worry is she’s got a small frame. She’ll get rag dolled defending in the front line.

Ali, Duzzi, Robbo and Vinny are the only ones left from the first season, Storchy would’ve been there the same length had she not had time off to have a child. Ciesiolka has been here since 2020, and most of the girls currently are entering their 3rd or 4th consecutive season with us.
A lot of contracts are only 1-2 seasons and with squads being so small you see all the changes more often as the fringe players get a lot more relative game time in the women’s comp

These girls are part-timers. Take the money while you can. I wasn't happy that she left, but I understood why. Now that she's back, all is forgiven.

When Millie and Upton both left in the same year I don't think I watched a game of NRLW the following year.... not just broncos the whole comp.
I understand why NRLW players move around, but having basically the two best players from my team up and leave just made the whole comp feel super mercenary. It's hard to get invested when the best players just up and leave the next year.
Didn't help that broncos turned to shit and knights go back to back... Upton being back now will drag me back in and have me interested again.

The thing that burned a lot of us with those two and Boyle in particular is she came out and said ‘we’re staying rather getting better money elsewhere’, or words to that effect.
Then they turn around and leave for a better deal immediately

It’s a character test that a lot were failing at that time.
Actions contradicted words.
It’s why DCE was booed at Suncorp at a Broncos v Manly game because he had just backflipped on the Titans.
