That's just nasty. Hopefully, he can get a full pre-season in and start fresh.

Is Pearson injured?

I looked into this and couldn't find anything to suggest that he wasn't.

Wasn't named in any Capras side etc.

Broncos haven't turned up and the Titans are having a field day.

28 to go and Titans lead 28-6.

Arrow the sole try scorer so far.

The Gold Coast Titans have defeated the NRMA Insurance Broncos 36-6 at Suncorp Stadium in the National Youth Competition.

Leading three tries to one at half time the Gold Coast ran away with the game shutting out Brisbane in the second half whilst running in five unanswered tries.

Zac Spring and Brian Kelly scored doubles for the Titans who exploited the Broncos all night out wide.

Brisbane Coach Craig Hodges will be left scratching his head as his young side continually handed the Titans the ball in the danger zone and didn’t respect the football.

The second half started disastrously for the Broncos conceding an early try down their left flank through Kelly after a loose carry.

It didn’t get much better with Rory Humphreys scoring for the Titans in the 49[SUP]th[/SUP] minute off another Broncos error.

Brisbane couldn’t hold onto possession and were continually handing the ball to the Gold Coast in great field position.

Not long after Spring was in for his second to give the Titans a commanding 22 point lead.

Brisbane were struggling to hold possession and Shaun Hudson made it look to easy in the 62[SUP]nd[/SUP] minute slicing the Broncos up off an inside ball.

Kelly made it a brace of tries in the shadows of full time showing exceptional speed and strength to force his way over in the left corner and put the icing on the 36-6 Gold Coast victory.

Brisbane made the perfect start opening the scoring through Jai Arrow who ran a nice line off a short Jayden Berrell pass 5m out.

Poor discipline cost the Broncos and in the 11[SUP]th[/SUP] minute Max Elliot made them pay showing great strength to carry two defenders over the line.

The Titans camped themselves in the Broncos red zone for the majority of the opening quarter however Brisbane’s defence held strong.

Against the weight of possession in the Gold Coasts favour the Broncos entered the final ten minutes with two point advantage.

The Titans were threatening and in the 31[SUP]st[/SUP] minute Brisbane’s defence cracked with Zac Spring scoring in the right corner.

Josh Berkers scored in the final minute of the half to cap off a dominant first half for the Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast went into half time leading 12-6 after dominating possession.

Gold Coast Titans 36 (Tries: Z. Spring 2, B. Kelly 2, M. Elliot, J. Berkers, R. Humphreys, S. Hudson Goals: B. Torpy, S. Hudson) Defeated Brisbane Broncos 6 (Tries: J. Arrow Goals: A. Taylor 1) Defeated

That result has really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was concerned with their efforts against the Tigers. They won comfortably but the result said more about Wests than it did the Broncos. I thought they'd take that on board but from my understanding, they've gone into this game, clocked off and found themselves on a receiving end against a Titans side they're comfortably better than.

That's what happens when the opposition doesn't turn the ball over every other set.

Hopefully they get it right next week. I was just thinking earlier today that they were going to have to make a few changes if they want to win the premiership, so hopefully this loss speeds that process up.

Byrnes is quickly becoming one of my favourites.

Taylor had his worse game that Ive seen. Started well but then spilt plenty of ball and in defence he was lacking. His new coach watching probably got to him

Last night was pretty poor, boys didn't handle it at all. They've been up now for a while so not shocking news but Joe missing leaves a bigger hole than people know.

Brynes was great; he's been the best all year and has come back from 20's camp an even better player- he impressed that week as well.
