I love how fans react..

Player is playing for their club, no news of changing.
"We have one of the best and most exciting young players!"
Rumours of said player wanting out of the club emerge.
"Bullshit, this is his home now, he doesn't want to leave."
Rumours have some substance.
"F*CK the player, he's trying to screw us over and disrespect us!"
New info about player re-signing with the club.
"I knew he'd never leave, you're all just jealous and making shit up!"
Player says he wants out.
"Everyone is screwing us! His manager/other clubs are brainwashing him!"
Player refuses to continue playing for original club.
"Well f*ck him, he wasn't any good anyway!"

Monopoly, Defined as: the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.

Every single NRL club has scouts in Brisbane, constantly taking talent away from the state.

This is no monopoly.

How then did the Raiders end up with Edrick, Brenko, Mago, Bateman, Milford and Papalii?

But with Milford it is clear as day that Angela Gee has deliberately gone out of her way to scheme milford into breaking his contract.

That's based entirely on the premise that he knew what the (confidential) contract between the Raiders and Milford said.

Or that Milford approached Gee.

But neither of those involves Gee instigating or inducing Milford away from the Raiders or concocting a grand scheme to steal away Milford in the night.

And what do you say about the "I can walk away if I want" clause in Milford's contract?

Come on Xavier, we had our chance when they were embryos, we knocked them back then, we had our chance. Never should we be allowed to show interest again!

yes show interest when the rules allow.

Dont convince a kid to make up a story to try and get third parties to enact a clause to terminate a contract.

Its dirty you know it.

Haha..

Yeah that's it. Try to sign the embryos and it turns out the Raiders had a contract signed while the sperm was trying to find the egg.

And if they ever consider leaving the Raiders, they're ungrateful, selfish and disrespectful. "And we're over rated anyway."

Are you being deliberately naive or are you just stupid.

It's good business yes. But its dirty, underhanded, dishonest and it is not what rugby league is about.

You might have an argument, 'IF' there was no clause in his contract.

But the very fact his manager acknowledged homesickness and family issues, and had the foresight to have a clause inserted into his contract, completely voids what you're saying.

We didn't, unless you have proof that no one else has?

There aren't any, unless again you have proof?

That Canberra inserted into his contract?? Yes, that was Angela Gees doing as well...

Making up stories is fun :takdir:

Keep walking around in your fantasy world with unicorns and leprechauns..

In that same world you will find a certain anthony milford being homesick playing in a world cup in england but very sad because his dad is in brisbane sick.

Really...

really....

Really?????

If his manager was telling the truth and he was homesick he would be home with his father now, and not playing in the world cup.

Honestly did you guys all get hit with the dumb dumb bat??

Gee you Raiders fans love to push the conspiracy theories.

Ok so 12 months ago, Andrew Gee called Milford and said "we give you permission to re-sign with the Raiders, but make sure you put a homesickness clause in the contract. Because we might want to sign you at some point".

And now: Anthony says: "look Broncos, i really love the Raiders, I'm not homesick, I don't miss my parents or family, Ricky Stuart is in no way a complete knob, and Canberra is the pinnacle of excitement, I want to be a Raider for life."

Andrew Gee: "no, you must play for the Broncos in 2014, whether you like it or not.

Anthony: "ok."

True story..

He has just spent the last month in Brisbane with his dad. The very second the Raiders season finished he legged it to Brisbane.

Thats cute when you are coming up with your assumptions as fact.

Canberra fans insist that this was all instigated by the Broncos. Some Bronco fans would insist that Milford/Manager approached the Broncos first.

One of these situations is true, but none of us here on this message board know the truth so is this particular issue really worth arguing?

Coming on here and saying that we convinced a kid to make up a story and then dropping in the old "third party" chestnut makes you just seem like an angry little Raider, who for some reason got a drop of courage from Jack Wightons news and decided to try and ruffle some Bronco feathers.

I dont think you get it.

It's not whether or not milford stays with the raiders or not. It is how your dirty club went about about poaching him.

Its so dirty the club is now releasing press releases saying all this stuff is speculation and has nothing to do with them.... the club is doing whatever it can to be successful again right now, im thinking like how zoolander felt when his blondie wrote a story on him...

ie no matter how many lives you crush etc etc etc.

Thats fine admit for what it is, we are a ruthless club who will break whatever rule exists so long as we end up being successful. We dont care how much we **** over rugby league so long as we are succesful.

There is so much smoke.

Please enlighten me, which rules did the Broncos break?

its not about who approached who its 2013 everyone approaches everyone,
Its the homesickness garbage by milford and his manager that has been perpetuated by the brisbane broncos football club. It is pathetic.

If the broncos had an ounce of integrity they would dig into their broncos and offer cash to the raiders like a transfer fee and not bother with this bullcrap story, and if the raiders say no wait until after nov 1 offer him a contract for 2014, he signs everyone moves on.

But no they peddle garbage.
