Yeah, it's OK. ~100K more than I would have liked, but better than what I thought.

Considering Kennedy was on the exact same amount of money/years, it's a big step forward I guess.

$400k a year isn't too bad. Not sure why we had to lose Barba and Hoffman to fund that though. Especially with Hannant and Kennedy gone too. I figure we'll still be carrying Kennedy and Barba on the books, that's the only reason I can think.

At $400,000 then financially that's very reasonable IMO. At least we're getting the family discount!



[/FONT][/COLOR]This is still my regret over all of this. These 3 are basically locked in for years in our spine now. And a future spine of Milford, Taylor and Hunt appealed to me a lot more.

Still, if we win multiple premierships I guess it won't matter, but it feels like we're ignoring the talent we have coming through in order to have success as soon as possible. Which is okay if it doesn't come at the expense of long term success, but I still have my doubts.

I like Ash Taylor, but until he learns how to defend properly, he wont play first grade. No point have a bloke that can create 4 tries a game when he will let 5 in by himself.

400k though is cheap if he produces, given the "average" wage (cap divide by 25) is 262k for 2015.

You're obviously just talking shit to get a reaction at this point but the reason we needed Boyd despite surplus fullbacks is that he was a cheaper option than Josh Hoffman while being very reliable. Allowing us to offload the rest of the fullbacks to free up cap room. Leaving money to make a better balanced team.

i dont agree with any of what you said, and its provably wrong anyway. we didnt need boyd in any way shape or form, we got him because hes bennetts love child.
