Here we go! This is exactly what most of us thought had happened, raiders playing stupid games when Anthony had said all along that he had no intention of returning to Canberra after activating his clause. Ayoub is smarter than I gave him credit for and the Broncos have definitely shown through their quietness that they stand firmly on higher ground.

The only ones checking their ethical bank balance here will be the raiders board. Realistically, all I (and most of us here) want is what he wants, if that's 2014 or 2015, so be it. Family is always worth fighting for, best of luck Anthony!

He'll be nearly 21 with 1.5 years of First Grade experience, and a World Cup, in 2015 :P

But look at how he's excelled under all this contract pressure, in a city he didn't want to be in.

I'm not attempting to win any battle. I was on your side. As soon as he signed for 15/16 I was all for him leaving the club immediately. I had no issue, I just knew suspected that he'd be gone before too long.

I just didn't think his reaction was necessarily called for when I was actually wanting the same result as you.

Hopefully this will all be resolved before the month is out and both teams can move on. No ego, no battle. So put your sword away and your scoreboard my friend. Its a happy time for you and your team, you have no need to be snappy..
