Just watching the Raiders vs Knights game and Milford is a magician. Magic feet, magic step.

yeahh ive also taken up watching raiders games more closely now,, he looks like he does nothing for a while then just pops up out of nowhere with flashes of speed. i wish the raiders would do us a favour and play him at 5/8 so we could see what we are in for. definately going to have alot of individual brilliance in the team next year

Didn't see the game but heard that in the interview at the end, he was asked if there was a chance he would stay at the raiders and he said "never say never"

Are you talking about the Fox Sports interview for MOTM? I listened to his interview and staying at Canberra was never brought up.

I would say they are. I never heard anything about him staying at Canberra. Maybe they heard a commentator say something about it..

After seeing tonight, would people be unhappy about Milford playing at fullback and Barba at 6?

He has great bloody vision there. He has more time to look for holes and decide what he is going to do. When he did, he was awesome. Split the defense several times. Plus, he was very safe at the back.

The only problem, he didn't get involved as much which I thought hurt Canberra.

I've made my opinion on this pretty clear in the past, I think they are both fullbacks in attack - great at support play and running very wide, using their footwork and speed to create opportunities. I don't really care who plays where anymore, I just know we'll need a real quality halfback to get the most out of those 2 playing their natural roles.

I was listening to the abc grandstand commentary on radio and they were talking about Milford and coming to us next year. All they said was that he has signed with us but the contract cannot be ratified until round 13, so potentially the Raiders could do something (although personally I find it unlikely seeing that get-out clause or whatever has been taken out of his contract). I missed the last 15 min of the game, so I don't know what Milford said in this MotM interview unfortunately.

If the Raiders can offer him a bigger deal then we can too, right? We absolutely need him next year no matter the cost, not that I believe he'll back out but if there's any hint of it happening then I don't see any reason why we can't beat Canberra at their own game.
