Naturally there's going to be a ton of speculation in the media. Not going to consciously avoid it, but can't say I'll pay it much heed.

Milford will do what he'll do. No point getting worked up over the possibilities in the meantime.

The Raiders already have offered him far more than us, but he turned them down and signed with us anyway.

I know. I was responding to bb_gun's question.

I don't think Milford will stay, I very much doubt it.

So what exactly is it, that people think will make him pull out of our deal?..
Don't think he will but if he did it would be due to his parents now being there, the place being a much happier united club under Ricky with all the boys enjoying their footy and training, all the photos coming out show a very happy young man, plus there are rumours he wasn't happy with the broncos behind the scenes behaviour during the off season.

He is probably just stoked because he knows he is almost out of there. That said the Raiders have surprised me so far this year.

Don't get in to a pissing contest with Ricky when it comes to emptying a clubs salary cap. He'll metaphorically chop off his own dick to claim the extra inch of stream distance.

It's funny how Milford is the games biggest dog, money hungry bastard etc, but after playing a few games it's all about Don throwing the cheque book at him, let's make him a raiderr4lyfe etc.

What behind the scenes behaviour? I have heard nothing about this

That's funny because I remember him coming out and saying he wasn't happy with the way the raiders were talking on his behalf.

That's what I heard. It would be nice if bushman backed up his claims with more information... But I won't be holding my breath

As I said purely rumour but supposedly he received a lot of pressure and threats to be there this year, have heard it from a few sources now.

That makes absolutely no sense.

There is nothing he can do to change the fact that he has to remain in Canberra this year.

His parents have been moved there to help him feel more comfortable for this year.

Yet they are bullying to be here?!?

Really? What sort of threat could the Broncos have tabled?

"Make sure you are here in 2014 or we will make you take that Raiders deal for more money than we are offering in 2015".

It makes a lot of sense, Broncos were very desperate to get him for this year, as I've said previously it all comes down to bias of belief, who knows if its true or not but there is sense to it.

he might've agreed and taken payments to be there this year.
