Really guys? I think one retard wanted him to have an injury and that poster was rubbished/ignored by everyone else, I'm sure this site has some lowlife of that calibre as well

No manbush it wasn't one poster, it was a few. And when some of the decent posters (and there are many of them on your forum, I'm not disputing that) demanded it get taken down your mod begrudgingly removed it

I can only recall one and it was not begrudgingly removed, the admin who removed it (GE) stated that people should report posts like that so they can be removed

I agree with you, it's the only minuscule bit of protection we get as a club... For years we've had to watch as we raise players just to get poached, at least with the cooling off period, we have a chance to change their mind...

No, I have today off. I have been working for the last 10 days straight, not spending my time making ridiculous troll posts that just show everyone how immature I am.

For next, because I am sure there is going to be a next time. If you are going to write a piece that is so biased that it readers like a raiders circle jerk, at least make the link go to the canberra times website. In fact pretend it's written by Tuxy, after all that would be believable as he has to fill in his time between being passed around the canberra dressing room like a piece pipe

As I've said the round 13 rule serves a good purpose ie giving existing clubs best chance to retain talent but its not implemented the best way.

On Gee IMO he came across slightly nervous as in there's more hope than I thought of Milf reneging.

There are several reasons why.

1. I'm a fan of Milford regardless of who he plays for.
2. There are no photos of him wearing a Broncos jersey.
3. That was to show my appreciation of the fact that his efforts against the Knights in Round 2 won me $5000.

I'm actually a non-ticketed Raiders member because of his efforts against the Knights. That's how happy I was.

I made a comment in the Knights game that if Raiders won, I would become a member. Not long after that, Milford steps up.

I agree with a cooling off period but this round 13 rubbish is nonsense. It does nothing for either team involved except cos frustration for their fans.

Making it last until round 13 doesn't help the clubs either. The club that is trying to keep them have to put cap money aside in case they are successful, potentially missing out on signings that could replace the guy leaving, likewise the club that has signed him for the following have that cap space acquitted and potentially get left completely screwed for the following year if they backflip.

The only people that this rule suits is greedy player managers and the players that can secure a deal and then try to up that deal.

A month is a good cooling off period IMHO. Get rid of the round 13 rubbish, if a player signs elsewhere the incumbent club gets a month to try and change his mind, if you can't do it in that period then that's your own problem. At least that way a contract can be signed and a month later all parties (and more importantly their fans) know whats happening and they can move on.
