Kennedy might seem an odd choice but Thaiday doesn't exactly excel at prop at NRL level and whilst Myles is capable he's no specialist. Certainly can't fault a 3rd specialist prop IMO.

Totally agree that Papali should be there though -- would totally have had him there ahead of T'eo.

Goddamn that's a shitty QLD bench. Kennedy, lol. Surely you'd have to put Parker in the starting side so Myles or Shillo could come on an replace a prop after 20. Papalli missing out is a bit of a joke, he's clearly superior to Te'o and Gillett in all parts of the game. Hopefully he'll get his chance in game 2.

I don't rate David Shillington what does everyone on here think of him.

He's good, the 2nd best QLD prop we have, not counting Myles.

Hmm, fair enough then. Definitely on form he deserves selection but I think Kennedy will do okay. Still a bit concerning for the future, our young props have nothing on Woods, Fifita, Grant and Merrin.

Kennedy and McGuire shit on Woods and Fifita imo.

The only change I would make is Big Papi (everyone get on board with that nickname please) in for Gillett.

Same for me. Big Papa could bring a lot more to the table than Gillett. In any case, the team isn't bad at all. It will hopefully be the group of players needed to band together and smash the blues.

Yeah, I doubt very much whether we'd leak a team. Although I doubt there'll be too many shocks in the named side. Got no problem with Kennedy there, he's a good player. I'd also be surprised if McQueen isn't named.
