I'd like him to stay, but I wouldn't be devastated if he left. If he doesn't want to be here, then I certainly don't care if he leaves.
So who will be our halves.

That's the Million $ questionSo who will be our halves.
Not Milford if he decides to leave. So who will be our halves.
No joke right? I thought a player could play for a different team to the club he was part of.Not Milford if he decides to leave.
Niko and Bird.
Taylor and Bird the following year, who knows.
There is a difference between not caring if Milf leaves and not wanting us to mimic the Tigers or Knights by paying massive overs to a player (even one with the talent of Milf) effectively leaving us too short on other areas.
I'm not too worried about the later happening though as watching the way Bennett has negotiated contracts in the past. He generally offers players what he feels they are worth and if they choose to take the massive coin on offer elsewhere then so be it.

I can't believe after all the hype and carry on about Milford from 2014 onwards, unless I am wrong, people here seem not to give 2 hoots if he leaves.
I hear Choc Mundine is looking for a gig. He and Sandow will form the halves next year.So who will be our halves.
Sign Milf and Roberts ASAP!
Apparently we are very close to re-signing Glenn. Just be done with Glenn and forget about re-signing him.Sign them up and if it costs us glenn and kahu so be it
You're not very aware are you..Apparently we are very close to re-signing Glenn. Just be done with Glenn and forget about re-signing him.
I am, He is a vital part to the team and he has always been a favourite for me but I know who comes first Milford/Roberts/Boyd or GlennYou're not very aware are you..
**** the cheating fucking Storm. Making a play for Milford is Bellamy's act of desperation as he watches his meal-tickets walk out the door one by one. If he was such a fucking wonderful coach, where is the next Smith, Cronk, Slater, Folau, Inglis that he was supposed to unearth and develop?
Truth is, he jagged a slew of them in one hit and has been riding it ever since. And only held on to them by cheating off the field. Only developed winning game plans by cheating on the field. And is now desperately trying to keep his facade alive by flogging an established superstar.
I have no doubts that they'd find a way to throw $1.5 million at Milford for that very reason. He'll thrive under Bellamy's structure for a year or two, before Smith retires and then everyone will see who the success was built around.
Being the extremely honourable and totally not petty person that I am, I'd love to fantasise about a world where we already have Milford's signature. But we haven't lodged it yet (with Milford complicit), because it is one thing to have our roster and cap sorted. It is another to disrupt our opponent's attempts to do the same. **** the Storm. Let them follow the Milford lure, ignoring all the other potential halves as they dry up, hoping to land the big fish, and the NOPE. No half for you.
The fact that Milford shared a manager with Storm players would mean it'd never happen. And nor should it, it would be a pretty fucking grub act. But it's what they deserve.
Forgive him.
Excellent post. My opinion of Melb is exactly the same but I don't often express it because most Queenslanders are usually in disagreement. Bellamy, Smith, Slater and co. are a poison in the game and my blood would boil if this shitbag of an organisation were to poach our Milf. I am still confident it won't happen but what the **** do I know.**** the cheating fucking Storm.
