I can see Niko going to another side and blossoming ala Corey Norman, who pretty much every person here to a man was happy to see the back of. Kodi was pretty vocal for NZ when he came on, which is a fantastic sign for a 22 y/o half.

My bet is on Kodi Nikorima playing in the halves next year and rightly so. If we do not win it this year next year will be ours. Just watch Kodi flourish beside Anthony. They can win a premiership for us next year no doubt about it. With two great centres and two great wingers we will be hard to beat. Not to mention our depth which is the best it has ever been.

I think if Kodi does get the gig next year we still need to sign a halfback / bench untility. Reason being our deapth in the halves seems a bit of a problem especially if benji retires and Kodi as our main man. I'd like to see a decent backup option (even Darren Nichols again) to cover an injury crisis or the possibility of milf, Boyd, bird all playing origin next year. i wouldn't be against getting Jayden nikorima back firmthe right price as our bench utility/back up half/deapth.
