IMO we still have a chance of making the 8, provided we play with form we displayed against the Warriors. Also I think you are being far to harsh on some of the players, like Hunt, he has not said he wants big money or is a superstar and has only had 1 bad game.

how do Hunt and McGuire cop it here? they've been excellent all year and have left everything on the field. No other players are less deserving of criticism than those two

I'd love them to stick around and I'll be devastated if they go but they're allowed to test their worth. We should just make sure we offer them what they're worth and hopefully they'll be our go-to men next year as well

He is far too harsh on a team who were tipped to win less than 10 games this season and if not for Ben Hunt, we would be spoon contenders and that is no exaggeration, I do agree with him in that we are no chance of a playoff berth and it is obviously taking it's toll on poor babyon.

My 2 criticisms of Parker.

His discipline at times this year hasn't been good and has hurt the team. At times, he has conceded unnecessary penalties, one of those guaranteeing a victory for South Sydney. But, when you play the way he does, you're always going to concede penalties so it's not really an issue.

His goal kicking. It hasn't been good.

His goalkicking is pretty much Thaiday for the last 3 years. Occasional great shots surrounded by completely lackluster efforts.

the biggest passenger by far is Sam 'two run, two metre' thaiday. and gillet isn't far behind. its sickening they are the qld backrow too. wtf is wrong with thaiday? is he injured again or is he too good for club football? we got rid of the our best backrower in Ben teo and now we are stuckwith hacks like thaiday gillet and glen

I don't think we'll win another game this year. The only one potentially we might get away with is the Newcastle game. Some of the players might be motivated to put in a good performance for the incoming coach.

Just in general, but yeah, read a few complaints about Sam's first half statistics but think members have to be mindful that he was taken off after 19 minutes when all the Broncos did was defend.

But you know, the OP made a similar thread predicting we'd win the wooden spoon, disappeared for a long time and only came back when the chips were down.

He isn't alone but it's pretty shady.

A lot of the unnecessary penalties from both Parker and McGuire have been absolute bullshit though.
