NEWS Pangai told to leave

Im leaning towards TPJ not having a ton of heart, and more being advised by his manager to play his ass off in a wooden spoon team to attract a bigger contract elsewhere.

I have really loved watching TPJ play for the Broncos but as others have said, he keeps testing the market while signed with us so **** him, he can **** off too.
I'm not into conspiracy theories and we have no way to prove this either way (unless the manager comes out and explicitly says as much), so I'm just going to judge him on his efforts - which has him at the top of our POTS.

Yep purely speculative. Sucks cause i love watching him play when he is on fire.

The one thing that will annoy me to no end is now all the fans of other clubs will bee using their grubby fat little fingers to write up something similar to the following "TPJ would be a nice signing if Broncos pay the freight"

Get absolutely fucked.

I don't want to see him at another club if we are forced to pay anything significant towards his next season and a half, just don't offer him another deal if they think he isn't up to it. It cannot get any worse, what are they gonna do? throw some rookie backrower out there and hope for a better outcome? it's not happening

If any of you watched the pre-game show on Fox, they point out some of TPJ's lacklustre efforts in defense, not following in with the line and leaving some gaps, that's the sort of thing the average fan won't see.

They just see the offloads and the big collisions. He's not putting in on the little areas of the game that people don't really notice except the coaches surely do, if I had to guess why they are wanting to let him go, that would be it. Can't say the guy who replaces him will be any better though and we will end up paying for him to play somewhere else.

The handling of it from our media manager is definitely shit. Whoever approved the post-game interview with TPJ should be sacked.

They said on Triple M this morning that Badel was leaked the info by a Tigers staff member half way through the game, he tweeted it immediately, and the Broncos went in to damage control. They were not allowed to deny them access to TPJ as all players have to be made available post-game, and media guys grabbed the opportunity knowing that TPJ would have no idea it was leaked and would be put on the spot.

Dobbo (note: Dobbo) alluded to the fact that there was player unrest that led to Bennett going, and similar knifing resulted in Seibold going. And that Kev knows what is and has gone on, and is not going to end up the same way. Him and DD are on to it, so my assumption is that, if TPJ is being told to leave, they may believe he is one of the trouble-makers. Also make me wonder if Glenn is captain because he is a good clubman and isn't the sort to knife the club or its coach, and is held up as an example of players doing their job in the team (even though he is playing like shit).

I don't think this was news to TPJ.
We found out last night, but I think he'd been told weeks before - hence the Tigers meeting, which had to all be explained away as a misunderstanding because Kev wasn't ready to announce the big cleanout yet.

I don't believe in this gradual cleanout. It's like struggling on the toilet after eating chocolate for days.

The clean out should be like movicol and it should just slide out all at once so you can feel good again.

I'm sure Huge knows what I'm talking about.

I'd rather a violent cleanout like the one when you are preparing for a colonoscopy. These players don't deserve a nice smooth transition.

Nah, I think the tigers meeting brought it to a head.
