Ah ok.I was suggesting you chose the very obvious kids movie but blamed it on your kid.
Sorry ... I'll keep to five grunts of brain farts ... to fit in.Stop bringing these long winded conspiracies into every thread or you'll lose access to the thread. None of this is relevant to TPJ being told to leave.
Another ignored comrade.
You got it again my most intelligent comrade. I mean no one would ever describe the above as:
aquiring one of the best halfbacks and kickers in the game
a state of origin back rower coming home
a premiership winning and Origin centre
A depth utility player
A depth wing option who is an improvement on Kenner and Copley and helps with our cap management.
no, describing something overly negative or positive would just be pushing an agenda... we are too smart for that right???
If these numb nuts on here don’t agree with us let’s start pushing the Timmy Deardon point again, how we were made to give away the guy who is going to dominate over the next few years.

The latest is the club is also letting Oates, Lodge and Issako go as well.
Could you explain why decimating a playing squad like this will benefit the club long term?
I look forward to your nuanced (as normal) response.
....well....i gave it a red hot go so.....Karma.
Its a bitch.
Certain players have, through their words and actions, shown over the last 2 years a lack of respect, accountability & professionalism to;
1. Their fans
2. Their team mates
3. Their coach & staff
4. Their club and the game.
Karma.
Kinda hit Tevita right in the face the other night huh...
Kevs arrival was part of a "cultural reboot". Well here it is.
Culture in team sports begins and finishes with the playing group. What culture do we have here? A winning one? One that gives a shit and holds everyone accountable?
Or one that likes to play the pokies before a finals game. Happy to take the field to get a pay check for as little effort as possible...
You all know the issues....
For mine, the key question moving forward is; we have signed up some young players internally like Staggs, Piakura and Riki, why invest the time and money if we then allow them to be left exposed to the current issues surrounding this team?
How can our best performing players (Lodge & TPJ) be the same ones who have actively seeked pastures anew? Like, its illogical? Unless.....they are playing for themselves and not the team...playing for a move...and most likely happy to tell the other guys that also...
Is that the right culture to introduce Riki, Piakura etc into..? Or Robati..?
This HAS to happen.....the cancers need to go.....before they kill the host...then the cultural reboot begins...guys like Lee and Reynolds whoc an pass the baton onto the Staggs and Rikis of this world...
Anyway....rant over....
Well said. A lot of recent movement in the club is less about performance and more about attitude. Kev is cutting out the rot.Karma.

Remove underperforming or ill-fitting players (as bolded above) and replace them with better performing and / or better suited players. Some might call it having a more balanced squad, both with regard to the skills / characteristics the players bring and the salary they demand. The latest is the club is also letting Oates, Lodge and Issako go as well.

If any of you watched the pre-game show on Fox, they point out some of TPJ's lacklustre efforts in defense, not following in with the line and leaving some gaps, that's the sort of thing the average fan won't see.
They just see the offloads and the big collisions. He's not putting in on the little areas of the game that people don't really notice except the coaches surely do, if I had to guess why they are wanting to let him go, that would be it. Can't say the guy who replaces him will be any better though and we will end up paying for him to play somewhere else.
Brent Read in the Australian is congratulating himself for being a part of Pangai's exit.
He reckons the rumour he made up in his recent "Weekend Read" column speculating that the Broncos wanted to offload middle forwards - including Tevita - compelled TPJ's management to front the club over his future. The Broncos said he was free to leave if he wanted for two reasons: to free up cash, and because they were running out of patience with him.
Why were they running out patience according to Read? Because of the rumour Read propagated about Tevita meeting with the Tigers. The one everyone denied.
He also reckons he'd known of a couple of days that Tevita had been told he could leave, but the club embargoed it until the game Thursday night. So what did Read do? He dropped it the second the whistle went, which led to that embarressing full time interview.
Read is also spreading the rumour Kevvie has lost the dressing room and that his job is on the line.
He talks of "mixed messages from Walters and staff. He says the coaching group is at odds over the naming Karmichael Hunt. Corey Oates has been told he needs to "play with more energy." He appears to have given up on Milford who he promised to revive. He says Lodge has also been given conflicting messages over his future and the rest of the team looks "confused and uninspired."
Some of this is on Triple M:

As an outsider it looks like the dressing room has lost Kevvie. If Kevvie is going on TV talking about putting a broom to the roster, what do you reckon the players are saying about him behind his back?I wouldn't be writing off Kevvie having lost the dressing room just yet and I'm not saying this is how it should be either. This is not me agreeing or disagreeing with it, just making an observation.
All that chopping and changing has to be confusing for players and I'm not sure Kevvie would be the best communicator based on his media personality. This squad is rotten and I don't think it would take much or long for the cancerous cliques to get upset if they feel they aren't getting their own way or seeing improvement just magically happening.
I'd say Donuts is supporting Kevvie over the players right now but if, once the cancers are cut out, Kevvie still can't get improvement, I'd say he will face the chop too.
Oh yeah.....losing TPJ is pretty mehh in my mind....for reasons much like you're alluding to.If any of you watched the pre-game show on Fox, they point out some of TPJ's lacklustre efforts in defense, not following in with the line and leaving some gaps, that's the sort of thing the average fan won't see.
