Flegler got in due to an injury crisis. You know that as well as I do. He's lucky Pat was injured because he would have been easily selected in front of Flegler. When there wasn't an injury crisis, Flegler wasn't even close. Carrigan was in 2020.

And you know as well as I do Flegler got his contract by taking advantage of our inability to negotiate a decent contract. You are really clutching at straws by using his contract.

Like I said, the different level he's on is a level below and at the end of their careers you will clearly see it. Flegler has some brilliance in him with certain aspects of his game, but his general play is so dumb and he will never have the consistency in his game Pat has shown.

Exactly. Saying Flegler has done things Pat can't is a very weak argument. I've seen Flegler do some things Webcke couldn't, but I wouldn't choose Flegler over Webcke for example. It's about getting the blend of players right.
