I thought his religion didn’t allow him to drink? Maybe he wasn’t under the influence at all. Does that make it worse?
I was seeing his girlfriends roommate for a while and he does plenty of stuff that he’s not supposed to.

At this point I’d be putting a booze ban on the players and pushing the NRL to form a new rule where if a club lets a player go for behaviour issues, other clubs can’t pick them up for two years. They can **** off and get a real job or play rugby or some shit. I’m sick and tired of these players taking this for granted. Grow the **** up. Most people can go an entire lifetime without having an issue with police. Why can’t these cunts go a year? I hope he had a front ended contract this year, that’s where all our money is going and he gets fined every bit of it. **** him. Drop kick

Haas has off field form.

Can’t believe some of you are defending him abusing police.

This is a bad look for the Broncos. Affects the reputation of the club. Paul White was even an ex police officer. How do you think he will perceive this.
Because we don't know the facts? Look at the Curtis Scott situation. Police aren't infallible.

It doesn't cost you anything to reserve judgment in these situations.

I’m also the same age, It’s really not hard to come by mate I lived there for 12 months and saw more incidents then I ever saw in Brisbane in my life and we have two and a half million people vs five hundred thousand.
I find it interesting because I lived in West End for a year a couple years ago and honestly saw the same amount I do here (which isn't too much). Guess it might depend where you go in each city? Who knows.

Likely just posturing in the hope the Broncos bail him out so he can go sign with the Titans on a mega-deal for 2022 onwards.

Where have we seen this before.

2022 Titans:

1. Brimson
2. Coates
3. Kelly
4. Niu
5. Sami
6. Taylor
7. Fogarty
8. Phototaker
9. B.Smith
10. Haas
11. Fifita
12. Piakura
13. Foulsmellingodour

14. C.Smith
15. Ese'ese
16. Fermor
17. Wallace

And they will still have $2 million left over from losing David Mead.

I wish we could go back to the good old days, the days when the Titans only signed our discards on inflated contracts.

It's warm, there is a nightlife, some of the best beaches on the planet and is known worldwide. The shithole you speak of is Nerang northwards.

That's true of course. However, this shit happened in Tweed Heads.

Payne should know by now what NSW can do to a person

Guess Curtis Scott is fresh in mind mate. I would enjoy nothing more than to copy the apple doesn't fall far from the tree stuff that was on Fifita's discussion over his nothing incident but tbf Payne so far hasn't come across as a dickhead.
Yeah the Curtis Scott debacle was the first thing I thought of when I saw this. I wouldn't be surprised if Payne was being a bellend but the cops aren't always on the side of the angels themselves.

Yes, I agree, I think we should all just let it payout and see what the facts are. Sometimes it does not take much to wind up with these charges, it could be a cop having a bad night and Haas being mouthy at the wrong time and place.

Almost to the point where I wish the club would re-brand.. the most painful part of all this for those of us who’re old enough to have been fans since the early years is the seeing the gradual eroding of standards and the tarnishing of everything the Brisbane Broncos established, stood for and achieved during its first two and a bit decades of existence.. I don’t know if it’ll ever be what it was and at this point in time the most enjoyable part of watching the Broncos is old games on YouTube

Yeah honestly my patience with the club is starting to wear thin. There were immortals and just genuine legends of the game in the good old days, and a bunch of very likeable characters.

I feel like most of the club now are just stuck up douche bags that think they are good.

I don’t mind them bringing Copley, mead, Teo and Macca back, even if they aren’t the best players at least they are likeable, unlikely the rest of the squad.
