Walker is also playing on one leg with the calf issues that have been plaguing him.
I think there is something there with Humphries but he's a long long way off. Sullivan isn't an NRL standard half. I rate Jye, but he's still green and learning the game. Mitchell is always ****ing injured.
By the time they're even close to being in a position of being a contender, Haas's deal would have already expired and he would likely be on his way to R360.

The only way a release gets granted is if broncos are down the ladder.
We're a premiership favourite and he's won our player of the year 6 times.

Kent's number 1 agenda is Sydney and NSWRL.
Anything outside that means nothing to him, but if you come after Sydney or NSWRL then he has an agenda.
Broncos were the first team from qld into NSWRL and then they actually dominated his comp and won premiership ... bastards!!
Broncos' owners then tried to destroy NSWRL with Super League.
He's just a bitter Sydney dinosaur and the majority of the NRL fan base happens to be from Sydney so they enjoy him talking their area up.

I don't think Haas will push for a release.
He'll honor his current deal at the club and focus on getting that second premiership. What happened in '22 was his management jumping the gun without his say so. He wasn't the one pushing for that release.

With all the wild speculation and utter garbage from the talking fcukheads, I can't help but hope MM gets so fired up that he decides to silence all these morons by leading us to back-to-back premierships and setting us up for a three-peat next season.
MM mentioned multiple times during the season last year that he's aiming for us to be premiership contenders in 2026 and beyond. Being the premiers in his 1st season here should have given him plenty of confidence to plan things even better this season and next.
To his credit, he and DD planned and executed things very well by signing Adam's replacement a year in advance. With the R360 rumors, it seems like they've accepted that Haas might end up there and have some backup plans ready if he decides to explore it. Regardless, MM and DD have a whole year to strategize about our prop signings, rotation, and retention. Like majority of things they’ve done since last year particularly, I’m positive that they will make sure that they will nail the outcome.
As a bonus, once the team is back in Brisbane, it would be awesome if MM could gather all the middles for a heart-to-heart honest chat. The goal should be to fire them up, boost their confidence and encourage them to play with mongrel. That way, we won't have to rely so much on Haas's efforts and can see how we perform without him. Halfway through the season, even a one-eyed Freddie could see clearly that Haas is simply a luxury and a surplus to our needs. And that to me is MM shitting all over these talking fcukheads.

It's a 1 year deal at Souths with a 2 year option in his favour. Sounds like we didn't want to play that game. I'm happy with that. We need to plan for the future. With him walking out to R360 it would make things hard.
