Questioning the validity of an article that by the authors own admission there is no evidence to suggest what he is proposing is fair enough. Most people only read the headlines these days and crap like this just causes reaction and fear and slander peoples reputations. When there is actual evidence to be reported on it is fair enough, but this is just rubbish.

It's like someone writing 'Renegade might be arrested for rape' and when you read more they have based that on a serious of rapes in your neighbourhood and the fact that the guy that used to live in your house was convicted of rape... would you be happy about that?

All they have said is the investigation has now set its sights on the Broncos.

That's it.

In your example, would I feel threatened if they said, in neighbourhood X a person was raped, and therefore they are questioning people living in neighbourhood X to see if they can aid in the investigation.

Would I feel threatened by that? No? Why would I?

How could the focus be on Sydney Clubs when this is a Queensland Crime Commission investigation. The Broncos may or may not be involved in this. I certainly hope they are not but you'd be kidding yourself to think that no Broncos players have ever touched Cocaine.

No Masters said they 'could' set there sights on the broncos based on how close they are to the titans and the fact that ex players have been charged. Which is the same scenario that I posted to you. So if you have no issue with a national paper hanging your name out to dry on no evidence then that's fine, you're a very accepting person... good for you

If I was high profile, and i associated with someone that committed a crime, it is highly likely I would be name dropped, but only to say that police would be interested in speaking with me regarding an alleged incident.

That happens quite a bit, you only have to look at the articles surrounding bikies the past 18 months to see that.

They're only inferring that they may be of use to the investigation, not that they had anything to do with it.

Actually I don't really care at all, if I've given you that impression I apologize lol.

I don't care if Brisbane are involved, I don't care if our players get punished or not, it makes little difference to me.

I just found it bemusing people would defend them so staunchly when they really have no idea what's going on.

It's plausible they're involved, nothing defamatory has been said about them, only that they might be potentially investigated, who gives a shit? Does it really matter that much? Are you a shareholder?
