IMO its just a ploy to have the ARU scared a bit. Lets face it without Cooper the Wallabies are shit. I think he is just trying to get him some more money

It's Khoder Nasser. Nothing he ever says can be believed or taken as honourable. I hope the Broncos don't even entertain the notion of talking to this fucking scum sucking waste of oxygen.
 
I can see it now..

Press confernce gets called, Out walks WB who takes a seat. After him comes Cooper who sits next to him.

Both announce at once they are Broncos..WB walk out with Cooper or don't walk out at all please.
 
I don't know. I'm not sure whether it's a good strategy to miss out on good players because they have a crap agent. Nasser may be more vocal and open about his dealings that most other player agents, but why would anyone think they wouldn't do the same? [icon_shru
 
Can't see Quade coming although I hope he does. Can't see how we could afford Quade and Boyd especially if Hodges stays.
 
Cooper is seriously one of the biggest dead s**ts in Australian sport.

If Hodges stays then he should be on a drastically reduced contract.

He's been out for nearly 2 years. Can't afford to keep him on his current salary if he is going to play 3 games a year.

If he has a problem, then let him leave. The Broncos have been good to him, and if he really is a grateful as he claims to be then he will understand why his contract would be reduced.
 
I'm not sure if Rugby would put up much of a fight to keep him. O'Neil has proven to be a bit of a twat when dealing with re-signings and many of the players are going to have to take pay cuts or similar offers to what they are on now with the introduction of a salary cap.

Australia's depth at number 10 is now as good as it ever has been and with Nasser sure to be demanding ~ a mil a season, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cooper is told to walk.
 
Nasser isn't an accredited NRL agent, so if we do want to sign Cooper we don't need to have any talks with Nasser anyway
 
I'd welcome Folau back in a heartbeat.

I'd be fine with Boyd and Taylor if they didn't want the big bucks.

I just don't know where you could fit Hunt?
 
Here we go again, we can't possibly afford to buy everyone back but I'd imagine Boyd will most certainly be following Wayne. Cronk would be nice but can't imagine him being let go by the Storm.
