I meant next year.

8. Luke Bailey (still going pretty strong)
9. Matt Srama (one of the best young hookers in the comp)
10. Luke Douglas (Should have played a bunch of Origin matches already)
11. Greg Bird (Love him or hate him, he is a great player)
12. Nate Myles ('Nuff said)
13. Ashley Harrison (Most underrated player in the comp?)

Still LOLZ:haha:

Let's try and keep this thread about player movements, in particular those which relate to the Broncos.

Why woudn't we pick up a guy like Ryan Stig over Capewell, surely we already have the 'young with potential' recruit option covered with Norman, why not have another option of 'solid but nothing too special yet 1st grader' in Stig. I have barely ever seen a team replace a great player with another rookie that turns into a great player instantly, the expectation on a young guys shoulders is usually too great to overcome.

It's not like the Storm don't have depth in the backline, surprising if it happens really...

Hehehe, nice big and bold sig Hatch-man!

Titans are retarded. Playing a decent full back at five eighth (Zillman) while they've struggled to fill the fullback position with Capewell and Rankin (who was a hooker in the Toyota Cup if I remember correctly!)

Yeh, nice of you to notice. Gonna change it when I get a chance.

Just read that Peter Wallace is set to sign a 2 year extension on his contract which will see him at Red Hill until the end of 2014.

Yep. 12 months ago I would've been livid. But he's been closer to his best this year and, most importantly, consistent and consistently improving. So I'm comfortable with this decision. He's certainly secured himself one halves spot next year. And he'll have a lot of responsibility with whichever rookie ends up alongside him (Norman, Hunt or Capewell).

I'm happy enough for him to sign an extension of his contract, if he keeps playing and improving as he has this season, better yet if he can take on more responsibility in the absence of Lockyer from 2012

I'm pretty happy for Wallace to be here for a few more years.

I think he'll be our #6 next year, and should do a good job of it too.

Hopefully Hunt can find his feet quickly in the #7 jumper

I'm very happy he's staying!
Imagine he wasn't here next year and we had to go with a Hunt/Norman combination. Don't know about anyone else but that wouldn't fill me with confidence, lol.

I don't know about him moving to 6 unless Norman can play 7? I would rather Norman in the halves than Hunt, I think Norman is the better player, or at least has more potential.
