And the imminent increase in the salary cap once the TV deal is sorted out.

Hopefully we can keep him as i think his best is yet to come.

Great impact player off the bench IMO

I'm pretty sure clubs would have been aware of the increase in the cap long ago, so that money would have already been used to sign up other players. So I don't think the Broncos would have that money to play with,

As for Beales money how much could he have really been on?

As much as I hate to say it, I think the offers elsewhere will just be too good. Unless Teo is willing to take a smaller offer to stay with a winning team I think he'll go. We've done extremely well to sign all the players we have and sadly Teo will be a casualty of that.

I think Te'o will go. I think he should go for the money and the opportunity.

Not too sure on the roster, but I would prefer to keep Te'o over Anderson, even though Anderson is a specialist front rower, I think Te'o can fill front row if needed, back row and the centre position.

he was reportedly offered some decent money to stay, he left because he had little chance of playing either his preferred position (fullback) or 2nd choice (center), with only injuries giving him a chance to play in those positions

I actually wouldn't mind seeing us use Te'o in a prop role a bit more often - having him storm onto the ball and into the defence would be a nice sight.

We used him there a few times last season, didn't we? Could be quite a handy option to provide some impact off the bench if we're struggling.

I think Thaiday could slot into the front row and allow Te'o to play second row.

Pretty mobile pack then

They've tried Thaiday in the front row a few times and it has NEVER worked. Ever.

Moreso as opposed to Hannant, Civoniceva and McGuire!!

Ok i'm sorry, i thought we were comparing Te'os worth compared to Andersons.

I still think our better option would be to keep Te'o and let Anderson go (if it's an option)

I reckon everyone on here thinks that, especially GCBRONCO and Big Pete. :cheesy:

I agree with you there as well. Although I think (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) Anderson is signed until the end of next season after signing a 2 year contract last season.

Hmm, maybe we could release Anderson? Look, I think Anderson has heaps of potential to be a solid front rower, however I think that Te'o has a lot more potential and is currently showing that potential; unlike Anderson. The thing I like about Te'o is that he can really hit in defence, a real intimidator, and makes solid meters (either up the middle or busting tackles on the fringes).

Wasn't there a story the other day about David Stagg potentially returning to the Broncos?
