Again, what does he do? He runs with his fat arse into the line hoping to break it. And he throws his gut at people to try and tackle them.

He's a nuffie. Probably the most overrated player I've seen in a decade.
We hardly have the greatest pack and the amount of metres he makes will ease the load on our props ridiculously, especially considering Henjak has a fascination with a bench that consists of backrowers and maybe a prop.

Our backrow is fine, the front row is the problem. Regardless, Gallen can **** off, I don't want him at the Broncos.

Please don't hold back on what you really think?...LOL

Gallen in a broncos jersey works a whole lot better than Anthony Mundine in a Broncos Jersey and guess what?...we all survived the Mundine caper. I say if he's keen to play here we'd be fools not to have him here. Quality player, aggression we need, solid week to week performer...if he wore a maroon jersey 3 times a year instead of a sky blue one I'm sure we'd all be hearing a different opinion from this forum.

Again I ask, what's quality about him?

Gallen in a Broncos jersey he would deserve to end up where rest of the players who have disgraced the image of the club and the game, sacked. Frankly I couldn't care if we "survived" the Mundine saga(in fact that only shows that clubs can move on without that "talent") because quite frankly we can "survive" without Gallen as we have plenty of quality backrowers to choose from at the club who would kill for an opportunity not take it for granted, its trash like him leaving that ended up being for the better for the club and the same can be said for Gallen.

There was a reason for the Mundine saga he was a sook who couldn't handle that Kevin Walters was a superior 5/8th and showed he was the type of player with an attitude you don't want at your club which can do more damage then his worth at the club and Gallen is no different, he can't even handle that his club acts in its responsibilities with its players.

As for him wearing a Maroon Jersey, first he would have to deserve to wear one and there have been plenty of players who have worn the jersey, Gillmeister for example who could do the same if not more then Gallen but didn't have to resort to being a dickhead and bad influence to achieve it. If he wore one it wouldn't change my opinion of the turd, his still what he is and something we don't need at the club.

+1

Love the people who threaten to cancel their membership if X player signs.
Do you support the club or not?

The club is bigger than any player, I won't stop supporting the Broncos because one player comes or leaves.

The club comes first, team second and players third.

Exactly. Hence why recruiting such scumbags, thus hurting the image of the club, is criminal.

Another player pushing for a surprise start is young forward Rohan Ahern who, like Kemp, has been impressing his coach with his work at training.

Ahern, from the same Brisbane college which produced Dane Carlaw and Dave Shillington, has put on seven kilos since joining Brisbane and is very mobile for his size. "I've come here to play first grade, not to run around in the Queensland Cup,'' said Ahern, signed by the Roosters out of school at the age of 16.

Henjak said everything Ahern had done pre-season had shown him he was "hungry''.

"He came here at 94kg and we asked him to get to 100kg which he's done,'' the coach said. "He's worked his backside off and he hasn't been an ounce of trouble. He's got a hardness and toughness about him that I like and you need those type of players in your pack.

"I just hope nobody has taken their position for granted because some of those young blokes might put their hand up and knock someone of their perch. The side will be picked on form and reputations won't mean much once we hit the trials.''

I would agree, however didn't one our own players do the same thing gallen did and only got like a $2000 fine?

Kenny and Michaels only got a $5000 fine, which is all Gallen really got because $5000 was suspended... anyway neither of the Broncos players who did it have anywhere near the record that Gallen has

And they copped it on the chin, paid up and got on with playing footy - they go whinging about it in the media.

i think you mean that they don't go whinging about it in the Media (unlike Gallen)

Thanks Foordy and Flutterby.

We currently have enough issues with our players' behaviour, which we've worked hard to improve. Bringing a disgraceful influence like this total waste of oxygen would do nothing for the club's image.

Gallen, in terms of pure footballing talent, is amazing. He regularly gets through 20 hit ups and generally makes 30 tackles and plays eighty minutes. He takes so much of the workload which would allow chaps like Thaiday and Te'o to run wider and play a more attacking style.

However, he seems like a total twat although a change in scenery might help.

And gives away 3-4 penalties on average a game.

Fair dinkum the membership is being cancelled if he is signed. There is no way I can support a Broncos team with PAUL GALLEN in it.

My God.

Seriously get over it, If Gallen comes to the broncos and helps us win another premiership, you will be praising him.

Mate, people at work, school might not like your personality but if you get the job done in a above average way then who really cares.

Haters need to stop hating...cause thats all this really is.

It's a little more then just personality your talking about here and likewise those who dislike the guy have every right to do so, its their right that they have standards they expect from the players that represent clubs and won't turn a blind eye to the offences they cause off the field just because they potentially offer something on the field. I don't agree they should outright give up on supporting the side if they signed him but they have a right to be disappointed/angry with it for doing so.

Please tell me what Gallen's horrible, un-bronco worthy list of off field indiscretions are??? Seriously???

Calling Mickey Paea a "black ****" and trying to rip Anthony Laffranchi's stitches out of his head are standout moments of his career to me.

He's a grub, don't want him here.
