I wouldn't give up Ben Hunt for either Hannant or SBW, I don't think we should give up our halves depth. In fact, I wouldn't give up any player for SBW.

Not even Steve Michaels?!!!!!!!!!

I dunno SBW on the bench coming on after 20minutes and running of Lockyer....

Is this SBW thing a total beat up from you drag??? Other than you raising it there is no hint of it anywhere? I detect a baited hook. :)

No bait at all. If you piece everything together there does look to be a chance. We are 4th fav to get him for the bookies. Almost worth putting $10 down.

Yes, because the bookies decide our recruitment strategy.

LOLZ

Just what we need, another backrower, with questionable loyalty, injury prone and liable to be scatter brained and make rash judgments with a past toilet tryst history. If there is any truth to it, no thanks.

Definitely! Do you know something we don't Draggx?

Yes Hunt is someone i talk to on occasions. However have not spoken to him in about a month.

But with the dogs saying "We would consider a trade" the dogs about 2 weeks ago "Chasing Hunt" brisbane saying "we would not sign him if there was a fee involved"... Ivan saying in the weekends paper that Norman could follow Lockyer by moving into the halves...

It all falls into place.

Nothing to do with the Bookies, instead this above Post is the "Piece everything together" that i referred to Coxy.

I just added the bookies part in as im thinking it could be a decent bet to place.

How many clubs would have the cap space? How many clubs would have a player the Dogs might accept as payment?

I rate Hunt just as highly as you do. however if Ivan's comments in the paper on the weekend are anything to go by then he is looking at Norman for the halves. Hunt is pushed further down the pack.

Probably no clubs. And no clubs will bother touching $BW until his agreement with the Bulldogs is complete. And by then I'd give better than even odds that he'll be retired due to injury anyway.

The broncos are not after SBW, and SBW wont be back in the NRL anyway... Ben Hunt is close to re-signing with the Broncos and wants to stay... I doubt the Broncos will be open to the idea of any sort of player swap arrangement for the release of Hannant, the dogs need to realise you dont get to release him under compassionate grounds and then expect compensation as well, they seem to be stuck on this compensation rubbish since SBW... The Broncos didnt ask for compensation from the dogs for Stagg or Eastwood... They either agree to release Hannant on compassionate grounds for next season and use the money he frees up to sign a replacement or they dont release him... Its not the Broncos problem that Hannant is homesick, thats between Hannant and the Bulldogs.... this is the problem when you pay overs for a player to rellocate, Greenberg knew Hannant had reservations about returning to Sydney before he signed so they shouldnt be acting soo surprised that he and his family wants to return home...

thats because stagg eastwood and boyd werent wanted at the club and actually had a year to go on all their contracts. they were told to look around for their long term security.

Eastwood was wanted, but he got a giant offer from leeds that was too good to turn down so the club let him go...

Yes, Eastwood asked for a release to go to England. Rumour has it he was having run ins with Dean Benton so was unhappy at the Broncos.

[icon_lol1. I'm betting Dean Benton told him to cut out the KFC so Eastwood decided to leave the country? [icon_razz1
