If Folau has signed elsewhere, I hope he has the decency to tell the club, even if they all keep it under wraps so he can play origin, as long as the Club knows and can plan accordingly.

If Folau had in fact put pen to paper and signed anywhere they would be screaming it from the front pages - the Broncos would have no chance of keeping it under wraps. The club should plan as if he is going and if he doesn't - then bouns.

Agreed, but I hope he's at least keeping them in the loop, ie. "hey guys, I'm picking between AFL and union so you can go out and spend money", or "you're still in with a chance, I'm having trouble making my mind up".

Just a bit of honesty in these situations would go a long way.
It might be wishfull thinking, but Folau doesn't strike me as a kid that would hold us to ransom. I tend to believe he does want to stay at the Broncos and in the NRL, but can't ignore the big bucks being waved at him...

The signs coming from most other "renegades" could be helping us, with everyone returning to our game from either overseas or the other code.

Having said that, the club can't wait and end up missing on an opportunity, or being too late like in Hunt's case!

That was what I was getting at as well Ms Schmix. I hope there is a good deal of honest conversation going on from both directions.

To be honest, it doesn't matter now. The Broncos should be chasing who they can get. He had a chance to sign, and he didn't take it.

Communication or not. If Bruno isn't looking, he's a ****.

I think Bruno would have learned his lesson from the Hunt fiasco ..... he'll have the feelers out for someone in the event Izzy goes.

If he hasn't already sounded somebody out then he's a deadset cockhead !!!

I thought we had already established this about Bruno. I never realised that Bruno had actually been a player as well, did anyone else know that? Apparently he played A grade in Mt Isa.

A grade in Mt Isa............geez that would been a hard comp to play in. My mother could probally make the A grade side and captain it.

Is your mum 6 foot tall, 4 foot wide and built like a brick shit house? Because I reckon a comp like Mt Isa, played by a bunch of miners, farmers and other various country folk may not be the most skillful comp, but fucking tough.

I was up at Mt Isa last year. It would be a tough comp, plenty of proverbial brick shithouses up there.

Michael Jennings.

He wouldn't leave Penrith and the opportunity for a 50-minute each way train ride to the CBD for the orsm nightlife.

Marvellous.

After Petero, I reckon Hannant is the best prop in the game.

Nah, I reckon Hannant is THE best prop in the game all things considered.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Civoniceva is a guy who can lead a team to victory from the front row.

Hannant is a guy who will give his all and put in a good effort, but you're never going to look back and say "hey, we wouldn't have won that without Benny".

Maybe one day, but not yet.

Agreed.

Petero has that aura about him.

Hannant is an excellent prospect, but he's still got a long way to go to get to Petero's status in the game IMO.

When I say all things considered what I meant was mainly age.
We will get 1, 2 years max from Civo where as with Hannant we get 4+ years from him.

From a Broncos perspective Hannant has more to offer then Petero, if Petero was 2 years younger then it would be a different story.
