Nice win by the Bunnies on the week end .
Oh , they lost you say ?

Well suck me dry and call me Dusty .
Lets be fair dinkum, and if you know anything about rugby you'll understand this. Our pack against a full strength panthers team was , cheekam, Cartwright, fifita, Moale, Murray and Burgess. Two seasoned first graders, one 3 game rookie, and three barely Reggie's quality. We won the second half, had one try conceded with a knock on in the lead up, one from a kick, and the other from a terrible miss from Cartwright. If you don't think that's a shit outing than you are kidding yourself.

We just faced Penrith and Cowboys remember that.
Yes, in week one and two. Let me remind you of something. Last year when you guys were sitting 2nd or 3rd, Reynolds came out and declared the Broncos were a top 4 team, and that it was an obvious fact. Then complacency crept into the joint, because according to Reyno, you'd already made it. Then low and behold you lost almost every game from that point on and completely missed finals footy. Now you can carry on all you like about beating two teams from last year's top 4, and beating the rabbits on both occasions, but the fact is worked out to **** all.

I will be here on this forum all year. I like the Broncos history, the players that have come and gone. The only club who matches, and mostly beats us in terms of memberships and viewership. And I'll give credit where it's due.

Just wait till they play the Knights .
Gamble will have a field day .😤
I think they will let that go. They know Gamble is a pretender and his signature from the knights only proves that they are a rabble run by circus clowns.

It was a good learning experience and we have Walsh in Fullback now as opposed to the basket cases of Issako and Niu this time last year, TMM was a big upgrade but Walsh could be another level entirely. Having an elite fullback in the modern game can make you a premiership threat by it self but I think our team is very balanced even with that if Walsh keeps it up.

If Reyno and Walsh can stay on the field, and the young egos don't get too big they should be up there. The depth at half is the main worry. Cobbo's positioning at the back can be a little suss and he looked a little cumbersome at the back end of round 1, but a more than capable backup.

The high tackle just causes a broken jaw, it doesn’t cause the no try.

At no point during trying to score does he grab his jaw, he continues trying to get it down. The high tackle doesn’t cause his body position to change, the high speed collision does which isn’t illegal. He then loses the ball when trying to turn over to force it down.

The illegal contact had to cause the knock on. It’s not a penalty try. Never has been.
That may be the case, however the third player into the tackled Oates both arms around the head and continued to hold him and drag him up with both arms wrapped around the head and neck of Oates on the ground while he was attempting to ground the ball. Now that is a high tackle which continued while he was in the act of trying to score while he was in goal. That constitutes a penalty whilst in the act of scoring. Oh and just to make it more interesting the second player in only contact with Oates was a swinging arm slap around the head as he crossed the line. So three players in the tackle all making contact with the head of Oates.
