POST GAME POST GAME [Round 2, 2023] Broncos vs Cowboys

Was a short drop out i swear cobbo was to busy watching himself on the big screen and wasnt aware the short kick was on think it was the one tp the left and the only on they recovered.

Unfortunate tackle gone wrong in a change of movement that is being judged like it is horrendous it is absolutely not a horrendous tackle and far worse have gone unpunished let alone a 3-4 week suspension for a first time offence.
Its a bit hard for me to agree with all your sentiments.......however, if it is Drinkwaters first offence....then I agree some leniency should be shown.

The NRL are pretty clear......regardless of the circumstances

No shoulder charges
No contact with the head

Its that simple. Do either and expect some time on the sidelines.....

The negative views on here about Staggs are a bit over the top. His defence was excellent and he was error free. You can't compare him to the other side of the field where all our attacking flare went.

Herbie is good but come on a huge percentage of this place bagged the hell out of him until the media started lighting him up. He will be a huge loss but it has nothing to do with Staggs who signed two years ago. Herbie could have signed for more years but wanted to prove himself and get his preference in position and more money. He has left on his own accord. He will never be as good a fullback as Walsh period.

I have no issue with Staggs, my opinion is stop listening to Fox talking points and understand that a centre does not determine how much pill he gets and I don't need him doing hit ups every set just to get Ennis/Parker of his back. He completely busted Holmes with strong defence by the end of that game, give him some credit that he may be doing exactly what the coach and team need from him.
Finally a logical take, does the most defensive work out of all of our backs and his kick chase and clean up work has been great.

We have played two wet weather slogs against quality opposition, also not every centre is Joey Manu and can overcall and just take the ball in every situation they want.

@BrisbaneBunny chose a bad 2 weeks to be a ****.
Dear oh dear. 2 rounds in and you guys are calling me out haha. Hold your horses champion. Let's not forget last year's capitulation....

Yeah the way Trell got dominated and the Bunnies fell by the wayside was tough to watch . LOL .
Dear oh dear. The bunnies went a fair way further than your mob, while having close to 2mil on the sideline.

From top 4 to missing the finals completely with what, 7 rounds to go? I didn't start this you guys did. Let's see how you go against a team that completes higher than 60% and has less than 40 missed tackles.

Yeah he's right, Broncos have only played cowboys and penrith who are both bottom table teams, who are both missing all their important players. Oh wait

We just faced Penrith and Cowboys remember that.

Watched the replay of the game to catch whatever I missed at the game on Friday. Cowboys players were grubs! Loved Walsh giving it to Hiku after he dropped the elbow in and was penalised. Feldts late high shot on Walsh was ordinary too. I understand why they let it play on before blowing the whistle(considering we scored) but it's BS that the worst that happens to the Cowboys is that Feldt gets put on report and another team may get a benefit from it.

Pressure leads to poor completions .
Good team work leads to missed tackles .

Shame Cody Walker can`t control his temper . He is such an easy mark .Some would call him a penalty magnet . How old is he now days ?

Bunnies thought they were in it last year. With a chance to show the year before was an anomaly . Then under achieved .

This Bunnies bloke definitely won't be around if we have a good season, he's saying things like "let's see if they can do it all year", $1.10 with TAB he won't be around to give credit if we do it all season.

Gamble responsibly.

I like that we have blokes supporting Bunnies, Tits, Cows etc on the forum… it’s a welcoming, come one come all environment.. but why the **** would you be on another teams forum?! I barely have time for this one and I love the Broncos. Why would I ever consider participating on some other shit teams channel. Again, it’s all good, just odd.

I know some fans go to other fan forums after they beat them and get enjoyment seeing the disappointment across the opposition fan base but I couldn't actively participate in discussions past that, it would just be weird for me.

Agreed on Cody. Frustrates the shit out of me given his obvious natural talent. I suspect the coach will have a word with him especially coming up against the scum this week.

It's actually to get a feel for supporter groups feel about certain signings or releases, their losses etc. Also good for signing rumours and what not.

I cam here to congratulate you guys last week and was met with remarks that had nothing to do with bunnies... all because you beat the premiers week one of the season?
