what was the weather like last night guys seemed pretty knocked up was it more humid/hot than normal?

It was more humid than normal. This time of year, Brissie is usually cooling down but that hasn't been the case this year.

be interested to see how we go when we play in sydney they kept turning up in this sort of weather should make it a bit easier in cooler dryer weather

Interesting issue raised its head again last night. As in a recent Roosters game from memory (JWH/Radley?), there was a head clash where only one of the players is sent for assessment. Obviously, last night poor old Kodi came off second best in the collision, but there must be similar impact forces involved for each player - equal and opposite reaction, if you will. Is this being ignored so as to avoid a huge disadvantage to the one team? IF they are serious about protecting the players welfare, both must be taken off?
Could this be a situation to temporarily activate the 18th man?

Yeah this. Fair enough that Gilbert seemed fine after the collision, I was still surprised that he wasn't taken off for a precautionary HIA by the independent. That said, I can't remember the exact time of when it happened but it may have been close to half time so they gave him the assessment then? That's the only thing I can think of.

Jesse Arthur's getting the blame for the short kick to himself late in the second half, when it was actually Herbie.
Herbie fucked up a few times, but nothing I'd get too irate about. Once when he was pushing the flick pass to Reece or Ezra (can't remember which) which would've been a try had it come off. In fact, it was a carbon copy of Ezra's first try (I think) in the NRL. I thought it was well worth the risk.

Speaking of Herbie, his assist to Jesse was exactly what we've been braying for from him. He's well on his way to becoming the complete centre. For the Dolphins.

We played very poorly, but two big positives from that game....

1 - We still won

2 - The players acknowledged straight after the game how poorly they played, they didn't get carried away with the spectacular enough to lose sight of that. Which makes me feel comfortable they'll work hard to improve.

Lol Bennett has to disagree with every journos opinion/question
Yeah, at some point they stopped being pissed off with his routine and became amused by it. He's a national treasure now. His press conferences are a stage act.

Yep, unfortunately we're going to miss the finished product.. bloody shame really when he's been with us for so long..

Wtf is with the media. How dumb do they think us fans are.. they keep pushing this bullshit that the crowd was more dolphins last night.

75% broncos is generous to the dolphins. These "dolphins fans" were even throwing away their Fin hats at the end of the game so they aren't exactly rusted on as well.

They are going well, but ffs the media, just let it happen naturally. The lies and bs catch up to them. When they have a losing streak, and they will just like every bloody team, or they play the tigers at suncorp, and they get 15,000 to their game how will they cover that up?

Winning vin

Very muggy and the surface wouldn’t have helped. I’m still impressed Staggs went length of the field even after watching it for the tenth time.

Just listening to the crowd during that Staggs try, no way in hell is that crowd dolphins majority of fans. It was clear the majority were cheering Staggs on.
Would probably be generous saying like 30% of the crowd were supporting the dolphins. Nein Lying to perpetuate the whole battle of Brisbane bs.

They kept Harping on about the Broncs getting boo'd all night. It was a pathetic attempt really and in no way shape or form was it significant/ the majority. I hate league media. It's trash.

I might have missed it but haven't seen ikin at the last couple of games.
