POST GAME POST GAME [Round 8, 2023] Broncos vs Eels

There is too much potential for variation in defining a hip drop.
If you try to drag a player down from behind, you risk a hip drop accidentally.
This outcome has a 1000 variables, from the size of the guy making the tackle, to the size of the guy being tackled, fatigue, weather, angle of the run, the attacker dropping to the ground (like RCG) and the list go's on and on.

Short of banning any tackles around the waist and from behind, this will keep happening.

**** off kev put pressure on the ***** to not suspend him. WTF was that.

Now that was Great first half wet weather footy. Really pleased with the grit shown by our team . One of many but how was Shaun Lane's absolute ruck infringement on Arey trying to play the ball, it's just so typical of Klowns numerous bias calls against us. And not one commentator calls this C*** out ever. Very impressed tonight, great win boys ,great effort in absolute shit conditions. Let's Go Broncos And suck that Gutherson.

"Gee he's kicked early there" (Reynolds kicking on the last)
"He always pulls the right reign, doesn't he?" (It went dead and it's a 7 tackle set)

This happened within the space of 5 seconds
Pretty sure he thought they were in Brisbane most of the night too.

Watching the presser and I reckon Kevvie has handled that brilliantly.

They're pushing hard to get anything out of them for the hip drops and he returns with "the bunker had an opportunity to look at it and they adjudicated on it, so I'll leave it to them"

The gallery had nothing to return with so they started asking Reyno about the hip drops... and when it got to the 2nd question to Reynolds Kevvie stepped in and answered to take the heat off him.

That was it ... they couldn't come back to it again, so he shut the whole situation down

Excellent game from the broncos. I was really impressed with their start and whilst they lost their second half on the board i was stilly fairly happy considering they were down a man.
If they cite haas what will players do on the line. I would just line up a giant close to the line and rack up tries/10 minute bins as players are dragged behind them regardless if they keep their feet or not.
As i said in the game chat, whilst i have been critical cobbo and his concentration in games, he was spot on tonight and being outjumped for that try was just one of those things he will learn from.
Staggs was particularly impressive in defence.

This duty of care crap they started on over the last 6 months is the biggest load of shit I have ever heard. They are talking about a game that by design involves massive humans running into each other at full force 100’s of times a game. What the fucking ****.
