POST GAME POST GAME [Round 9, 2023] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

Yeah basically as said above, we don’t have anyone banging the door down currently. We either go to market or Piakura levels up but Capewell is reaching the elder statesman phase of his career and can provide value with experience and utility value off the bench, rather than missing 6 tackles, getting penalised for pushing the envelope too far and being fairly physically ineffective for 80 minutes a game each week.

I do think he is still a good figure to have around the club and is capable of a good stint each game but he doesn’t have 80 minutes in him.
He's starting to remind me a bit of Alex Glenn, solid but not threatening to any other side. I'm sure he's great to have around the club to bring the younger guys through but we really a strike player in the second row to back up Riki..

Thanks tigers and Titans. We won't even get a mention in the media this week. The clowns will be too busy laying into Penrith & Manly.
Not a chance will they be laying into panthers... it'll just be the guts and effort from tigers

Bunnies will be getting their asses kissed all week... Good chance broncos get caught up in the bunnies love fest as well.

Also a bit of Magic Round "gotta love ya rugba leeeeeeg"... Suncorp turf should be getting some mentions as well (NSWRL want the round moved anyway)

might tick a box for billy for an origin spot.

He is soo fit that he always has that speed on tap at all times.
Had to read that twice.

Hey now, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. I have atleast been respectful. When you guys beat the panthers I was called out specifically for some reason, now our respective teams have actually played and I've given my insight. This is a public forum after all.
What sort of a sad sack goes onto an opposition supporters site to remind them how badly they have played? Go gloat somewhere else and my first comment stands.

What is evident is we’re in big trouble if Haas takes the rah rah coin. Add to that Fleggs leaving, 2025 could take us back to 2020. Sure we have a bit of time to replace them, but I don’t think it’s possible, especially with Haas‘ motor.
His value to the club jumped again after Friday night.

Just block/ignore him bro. He joined the forums the day the news broke about us losing Herbie. Then he told us that he spends heaps of time on every teams forum just because he loves footy but then doesn't post a thing until the Bunnies beat us. He is literally only here to troll.

Reported souths had 14 on the field, but only for 33 seconds. Not sure what happens there to them but nothing good. Bulldogs lost two competition points but that was during a try scoring situation. This apparrently wasnt. Russel might be getting his cheque book out.

Yeah we would need to go to market for a quality prop, even this year if we were to lose Haas to injury for an extended period we could be in a world of trouble. Our forward depth is really lacking in quality IMO.

I think this game also highlighted again how much we rely on the metres from Oates.

Thats hyperbole at best. The only thing I said was Payne was a big loss in tonight's game. I am under no illusions that his inclusion up front changes that game. And as some here have already said, against a team completing well, "hail maty plays" will not win you games. It's clear that Walsh is ineffective without a forward rolling pack.

I read yesterday that it would just be a fine with no loss of points.

Tripping used to be a send off .
He stuck his leg out and didn`t have contact with his hands . It was a trip and he deserved at least 10 in the bin .
hasnt been one send off for tripping since atleast 2010 if i could be fucked id look further but i just couldnt lol
