Potential player unrest at broncos?

Yep, with Ivan the player unrest looked bad on him. Now iif its happening for a 2nd time with a different coach then maybe its the players with an attitude problem.

2 coaches in 3 (I think) years who have been under a cloud of 'player unrest.'

Maybe the players just need to harden the **** up a bit and not be prima donnas?

couldnt have said it better myself

well the RLW Mole is now reporting that Norman to Eels is a done deal and he is generally spot on with this stuff :S

"We're in talks with his manager now, there's no big rush, but hopefully we can sort something out soon," Gee said.

"Corey is happy here and we have a huge opinion of him, so we're pretty confident we can hold on to him."

Norman's manager Paul Sutton revealed on Sunday night he had yet to receive formal offers from NRL suitors but said there is genuine interest in the classy utility. "At the moment, he's focused on football. He's coming off groin surgery so he is keen for a big year," Sutton said.

He has a decent strike rate... although he has said that bellemy will go to the dragons, thurston will come to us, folau would definitely go to the eels etc.

He takes educated guesses and if they come off will rave about it and remind people never to doubt him, if they arent correct he just says things change lol

haha yeah good points. i'll stick with what the club is saying for now. :D

TBH if he wants to go then that's fine with me, hope they pay him a f***load cos he will be saying goodbye to his career. I'm sure if he leaves we will hear what a great shame it is but i really dont see how. As much as people talk him up as locky's successor blah blah blah he is not a 6. He is either a fullback or needs to bulk up and play lock. Even if he bulked up I couldnt see him displacing any of our second row and if hoffman finds form again where is his place in the team?

Don't get me wrong I would prefer if he stayed but if he goes it will be for dollars and the fact that the coach isn't accepting his crap performances anymore so good riddance. With Stuarts penchant for abusing his halves I would love to see how long he lasts...

article on DT about kemp, if theres player unrest then it contradicts entirely with quotes from kemp:

"To be honest if any other club had have called I would have just said, 'No, sorry'. But because it was the Broncos and I've always thought Hook (Griffin) was a great coach and I've got good relationships with everyone here so I knew I'd be comfortable coming back.

"I will do anything I can to repay the faith. They've given me a call and given me a second chance.

"Whatever reason it was, for everything to come together to give me that chance, I'm lucky. So I've got to take it with both hands."

Hook hasn't really treated his halves any better though has he?

I read this too and i gotta say I really like some of the things he said. I mean he could just be saying all the right things but it sounds pretty genuine. He sounds like he has matured a fair bit and genuinely realises this is probably his last chance (not making an appearance for a very average dragons side would do that do you). The bits in bold really impress me

I think he has given norman a fair crack long after he stopped deserving it, granted he probably has not treated hunt very well but the point i was trying to make was I think norman would be in for a rude shock (if he goes to parra). Ricky isnt going to tell him its alright that he can't pass the ball etc. he has a reputation for being a confidence destroyer of any half he doesn't view as his equal... and although I despise sticky, norman certainly is not his equal.

Man can you imagine Corey Norman and Chris Sandow in the halves, at the Eels?

And you thought Wallace and Norman were "unstable"..
