Moving away from the 'Gong probably will help. Looks like he was with a few "hangers-on" down there. Other than that, pretty atypical of most young blokes, especially footy players.

Maybe third time lucky, got a point to prove, definitely no more chances for him in football - a life of pouring beers awaits if not?

That's a terrible look for anyone let alone a bloke hanging out for an employment lifeline.

what an enormously unfulfilling lifestyle a lot of young blokes lead these days ...

Why are people commenting on a young footballer going out and having fun? You're a Bronco now son, you go home, you stay home, you don't live a happy life with the money we pay you. NO FUN FOR YOU!

what I do ? here's a tiny snapshot : I work in media and PR during the day .. for 10 years was a television sports journalist with the network that broadcasts the sport we discuss on this very forum .. played representative cricket & soccer and golf .. spent a year in europe as an exchange student .. am off to hong kong in a fortnight for a two week holiday with the beautiful family I own a house with on the Sunshine Coast where we live, work and play ...

I also happen to go to the gym five nights a week & eat a healthy diet and I happened to enter a bodybuilding competition late last year ... But don't let that cloud the all too easy assumption that anyone who lifts weights and or looks in half decent shape is a brainless, drug-fuelled neanderthal with nothing else going on in thier lives.

So I don't actually see how your life story in anyway disproves the point I was trying to make. You are effectively saying that having a fun, taking photos, and putting them on Facebook is a bad thing, and something that Kemp shouldn't do.

You then go on to basically tell me not to assume by giving me information about the other things you do. But you pass judgement on Kemp, based on no information beyond him having a good time with friends.

His personal life shouldn't come into it. If it's a problem once he's employed, then his managers can address it.

Thanks for your life story, I had been waiting with baited breath to know exactly who you are and what you do... I sure hope that when you were younger you didn't have fun with your mates and legally enjoy your youth, because that would be totally unacceptable to any potential employer. I judge by your admission of how successful you have been you did resist the urge to have a good time, kudos to you

Re Kemp, as a public figure, he has to understand his private life will be scrutinised. Whether that should happen or not is beyond the point.

I have no problem with him having fun, and I'd hazard a guess that all of us have looked like he does in these pics at some point of our lives.
However, there is something called perception, and his public Facebook profile makes him look like a shallow young man only interested in partying.
It's not about the fact that he has photos of him partying and getting wasted with friends, it's that practically all the photos are of him partying and getting wasted with friends. He needs to show another side of him if he's going to show a public profile.

Nowadays it is normal procedure for prospective employers to look at the Facebook profiles of applicants, to get a snapshot of their lifestyle and personality. Let's just say that his Facebook profile wouldn't help him get ahead...
