Storm vs souths was probably the worst game on the weekend... both teams just looking for penalties every tackle and storm barely playing football.

Storm had nothing and then Bellamy started taking players off to look for next week... I wonder if they had one eye on the broncos game as it is, because they were hopeless on the weekend.

We did the "blatant calls that fucked the Broncos over" list, we can do a decent one just for Broncos vs Storm games.

* Slater's "drop-kick" try.

* Slater not being penalised for leading with his feet in the tackle on Hannant, preventing the try that would have put us 8 points ahead in that 2008 game. And despite that rule having been brought in specifically because he was a serial offender at it.

* The time Thaiday was deliberately held in the scrum so Slater could run through the gap and score untouched. Replays showing that, yes, Thaiday was being deliberately held well after the scrum was allowed to break, and Slater deliberately running right where Thaiday would have been, but the video ref claiming no interference.

* Matt Gillett deemed to have "taken the advantage", when the Storm bobble the ball in their own in-goal, Gillett catches it and goes to ground it where he stands, and gets it knocked out before he gets it to ground. "He had the opportunity to score a try and therefore advantage has been taken".

Any more? Some serious liberties taken with the rules here (or blatant disregard of them) that is once again occurring far too often to be random ref "errors".

Coates is a big man but for some reason he just doesn't make the strong kick return carries that other players do of his size, I see him getting bent back quite frequently.

Unsure at this stage but they leave tomorrow so Herbie needs to have some herbs and get better.

I hope Herbie gets better just like Kev did before the Manly game. Not that I don’t want Mariner to fill in for Herbie but it’s just that I don’t want to start against a tougher opponent. He didn’t have success last year but this year, I want him to start successfully. If he starts & nails it with us walking away with W, I’ll be ecstatic.
