Reasons Why we will beat the storm.
1. We are flying
2. They are not
3. Our hooker doesn’t **** his second rowers sister (that we know of)
Who's hooker does play with seconds rowers sister?

Meh, the result either way is the same, we came out of it the beneficiaries as Cobbo is better than Coates in almost every department.

Cobbo/Coates 2023
Games: 10/8
Tries: 8/4
Try Assists: 0/3
Tackle Breaks: 42/10
Line Breaks: 6/4
Tackles: 47/29
Missed Tackles: 7/9
Tackle Effectiveness (Efficiency doesn't make sense): 87%/76%
Average Running Metres: 167/114
I’d like to see post contact metres for both these guys…..

Explain more about the 3rd thing.

You just know they're going to be determined to put in a big performance against us after the embarrassment of last week.
It's why I hate the storm the most out of anyone, they make a point of smashing us every time.

Bellamy probably has a cattle prod up the ass of everyone all week leading up to it.

Melbourne will throw everything at us, we'll need to weather it.
Speaking of which, perfect conditions:

If we're ever, EVER going to beat them, surely it has to happen this Thursday. Our squad is in far better form, probably a better team overall over the 1 to 17....Literally the only things going against us are AAMI Park and the inevitable knob polishing they will get from the refs as a result, but as if that's any different to any other day we play.

If we are going deep into finals this season, we need another gear or two. I see this game the same. We either go to another level on Thursday or we lose. It’s going to take a pretty complete performance to win this type of game at this point in the season. Defence and attack needs to be on point with ALL of our strike player’s rock solid. I’m not saying that if we don’t win on Thursday we won’t win finals games, just that beating the Storm at home after their loss last week is going to take a step up in our current performance. A final’s quality performance. Whether the team is ready for this kind of performance is pretty unknown but a solid performance and win this week will give them the confidence that they can do this, THIS year and that once origin is over they can build again for a real crack at the pointy end of the season. I love the positivity in this thread, but I’m still sceptical. Because it’s fucking Melbourne!
