I didn't want to believe you, but when I see this on the Dolphins forum it makes me sad. I can winge about performances, players, coaches, etc (and even about ppl on this forum), but Broncos till I die!

I'm unsure what your point is.....?

Its quite plain to see, that I'm defending Pat Carrigan.

:smoker:

Journo: Is it special to come up against a club where you were the inaugural coach and now one of the greatest Broncos players coaching again?

Bennett: Yeah, they’re nice things. Yeah, they’re pretty nice.

Journo: Alex Ferguson never coached Manchester City though.

Bennett: No, he didn’t. But he didn’t get the sack from Manchester United either.

Journo: Is Suncorp your home ground?

Bennett: I’d come here as a 16 year old police cadet up the top of the Petrie Terrace. It’s always been my home ground. I’d sat there every afternoon hoping one day I’d get to play, but never realised I’d do all the things I’d done. I was 16 when I arrived in Brisbane. You could see Lang Park as it was then from the police barracks and I lived in the police barracks for three years. There wasn’t a day that went past when I didn’t want to play or be a part of it.

Journo: Special memories?

Bennett: I’ve had some great moments and some terrible moments too. That goes with the job and goes with the territory, but it’s always been a special place and is always in my heart.

Why do they keep going on about Citeh and united. The redside of manchester probably have had a more intense rivalry with Liverpool over the last 30 years

I'm glad :). I read it as you were a Dolphins supporter and were talking shit about our 9 and Broncos supporters (I.e. broncos gronks). My mistake 👍

So you can have both 🤔

You can, incredibly.

Milford never transitioned into that game managing half and once you lose the agility, you need to be able to manage the game at least. Benji was the perfect example, I am sure Dolphins fans get an erection watching vintage Milford highlights but that was a long time ago and he won't be that player ever again.

I was watching the documentary on Stan, Milford was doing some sort of fitness test and he was fair dinkum struggling, the bigger forwards were doing it better than him.

He was my favourite player there for a while. Probably everyone's favourite. But by the end, I didn't hate him, it was just sad. He looked like he didn't want to be there. And the feeling was mutual.

The clincher was when he wasn't even in consideration for the leadership group, let alone captain. You have the team's marquee player, the highest paid in history, our star playmaker, and he's not up to anything more than "playing his own game." Well his "own game" wasn't good enough either.

It will be some achievement if Wayne can get some useful mileage out of him. Good luck with that.

think the side got in the habbit of pass it to milf on the last and roll the dice on if he can hit that inside out bomb or not.something that has been changing for the better the last few years is we have players other than arey that will provide an option on the last, admittedly arey takes the majority but we do have options now.

idk if it was his fitness or pressure just left him looking dead towards the end.
hunt moving on was the beginning of the end imo

You could argue he still doesn't want to be there, there being in the NRL.

That Dolphins team needs experience, he's clearly not showing Wayne something he would like to see.
