Anything to do with an eye they will take no chances .
Another hit in the same spot could make it worse .

I doubt Reece will play rnd 1 .
Herbie and Selwyn must play #1 this next trial . Sailor is in the mix too I guess ?

Would have to be Cobbo or Sailor I think. Leaning more Sailor personally. No point throwing Herbie into the 1 for this trial. The opportunity for that was the last one. Sailor and Cobbo are the most realistic options for the season if Walsh goes down or has to move into the halves. Assuming of course Sailor gets that last top 30 obviously.

Since Walsh is injured, I would have thought Sailor would start as the No.1 for sure...... and then maybe Cobbo gets a run there at some stage.

Herbie's not in the equation in my mind........waste of trial time to put him there now.
 
Walsh is only in doubt to start round 1 so still a chance and if hes possible to play I believe he will be there. Cobbo would be my replacement and play him there for full game this week to give him time at the back. Herbie is a center and has the potential to be one of the tops centers in the game and should be just left alone.

Yes but if at any point his hand comes off the ball, it's no try and it's pretty obvious that at one point his hand did come off the ball. No player has ever been able to re-grip the ball in that sort of situation and this was one of the more spectacular corner post tries we have seen.

I'm not sure the game needs this level of forensic analysis. I really can't get outraged over a few millimetres. The outrage is we let them get this close to the line in the first place.

1. I don't want to talk about our hooking options as it's pointless. It continues to be a glaring issue.
2. Some of the free meters Titans were allowed to make is unacceptable. It looks like none of our players cared to stop the leg drive from the Titans. Oppositions post contact meters were insane & I honestly expected a fix to this.
3. Tackling the legs is non existent from our middle third.
4. Titans continuously attacked us physically while tackling while we did NOT.

I know this is the trail game and we probably played with less 1st graders than the Titans. We have a lot of improvement to do and I do not know if we could improve vastly from now to season kick off. Like others, I shall find out when we play Cowboys at full strength(if).

Well put. For mine, this game was pretty much an example of how we played last year. And the year before ... and ... the year before etc.

As you said: No quality hooker, shit line speed letting the attack make so many cheap metre, minimal aggression, and when it shows it's uncontrolled and players get sin binned, so bugger all discipline. I can't believe we are still standing around watching them take all those free metres on offer. The Panthers will have an absolute field day in Rd 1. unless there is a dramatic change here.

For mine, without a top tier hooker, we will lose against those sides who have a top tier hooker. Simple as that. Why is Billy Walters still out there? Jesus. With him in the side, maybe 8th but that's it. You simply cannot compensate for the lack of a top tier spine any more at this level.

Too many people wanting this game turning into NFL, IMO. You have to ground the ball, not simply cross the plane of the try line.
