The no talk at the start was concerning. Was a big reason our defence was abysmal this year...

Why isn't the captain getting the talk in the group and following up the stragglers. Need a loud leader, we tried the strong silent type with Boyd, lets get a C. Smith type prick ripping it up them.

He'd have a few crying forwards on that run. Its what we need to harden them up and build a culture of accountability. No hugs unless you make the grade.

Still no word on the captaincy? Don't wait for the offer, take it with 2 hands and if they don't like it, they were to weak to stop you. Prove you want to be the man to bring success back to our club.

We do have the youth, they just have to be supported as they step over the seniors prone bodies to show that they are ready to do the job. Pat, Fleg, Turps, can all do it, just have to show now fear, and step up and lead by example.

it's not ridiculous at all ... I would agree with you if we were talking about them chatting about what they did last weekend, but were not.

we're talking about offering encouragement and helping their team mate when things get hard ... that's what being a team is all about. too often last season, when things got challenging, people were more concerned about themselves than what the team were doing,

do you really think the Storm or the Roosters would just worry about what they were doing because it was a bit hot outside ... do you really think Bellamy, Robinson or even Bennett would allow this lack of leadership.

towards the end though they seemed to be talking more and encouraging each other, which was a good sign
