My post started as a reply to fellow forum members post which is in bold below.

If Kevvie can get that happening again next year for longer, we’ll make finals.

I don’t reckon making finals would alone appease us tragics & the board. This club has been through some shitty years & Premiership is the only thing that can take away the disappointment.this clearly is a continuation of the point above in bold that implies that
1. we should just not make the finals rather go fight and get the premiership so us fans can forget the painful misery from 2015.
2. If we get the premiership, the board and the club itself could stamp its authority as the only club that Brisbane cares about but not late entrants. This is my thought process when I posted.

Anything short of it, don’t think will cut it. Next year after we make the finals, we can’t just fall off like flies like we did during the backend of this season. We must go all the way to D day in October & get the “biggie”.you’re so hung on to these words so, let me elaborate.
1. Playing consistent 80min footy week in week out and beating opponents comfortably would get us to the finals & I for one, don’t want us to then fall off like flies (like we did from R20 this season) as it would be a total waste of the effort and further disappointment to us fans, the squad, coaching staff, and the board.
2. If we fall off like flies, I do not know IF there will be any actions from the board.
I want to stick to the positives (winning the premiership) and didn’t want to talk about negatives (will someone be sacked?) because it’s just waste of time and doesn’t get anywhere. I want the club in greener pastures & not in the barren drought.

It appears that the board has given Kev all the support he needs to be a successful coach & it’s up to him to get the results early on. Having all the support, perhaps Kev’s clear in what he, coaching department & the team must do but he’s just poor in articulating his vision to the press .this is again in reference to the points made prior to my post that Kev needs to be better in communicating his thoughts
1. to the press and not contradict his words, setting expectations and clear asks, game-plans to the squad.
2. With the year-end review, coaching staff overhaul and players moved on/brought in Kev’s now in a better position to succeed.

Now that I have broken down my post, do you still think that I was calling for Kev to be sacked?

Let me also add here that even when I am most critical of Kev, I am annoyed about his Tuesday Team lists and use of bench during games. Look, I never have nor I never will call for Kev to be sacked because we can never find someone who has more Broncos DNA than Kev. I want him to succeed at all costs as a coach.

I don't appreciate for being called out for something I didn't meant at all. It's absurd.

Let's move on. Happy Christmas!
Literally no one else cares. Don’t waste your time

Hey mate :)

Actually I never thought you were personally calling for KW sacked; I thought you were saying you predicted the board would sack him if the Broncos don't win the GF in 23.

Anyway, I appreciate the well thought out reply, and Happy Christmas to you too :)

How good is our off season compared to everyone elses.

2 injury scares to our 2 best players.
Kobe gone for half the season.
TC Robati getting stood down.
..and now the more recent tragedy.

What else can happen between now and March?

Reece Walsh having a yelling match with Fifita in a nightclub on the Goldie. At least someone is showing a bit of fight…

Ha these boys need to pull their heads in.
Honestly the amount of ‘training’ they get from the club on how to behave and not bring the club/game into disrupt, yet every year without failure they seem to.
It’s time they bring in some form of pay penalty every time they’re caught up in an incident (obviously it has to be proved something went on).
Unfortunately, it’ll never happen and unfortunately these boys will just never learn.

It's the current age they live in... two blokes yelling at each other in a night club is hardly bringing the game into disrepute.... but because everyone has a camera nowadays media will be happy to post something and pretend to be outraged.

The fact that they cant even claim they had fisticuffs tells you everything about how minor it is.... they just want clicks so dont click

Agreed, this is on the low level of things. But they know they’re constantly in the firing line of the media, they’re the broncos, any article broncos related will get clicked on.
Just give the media no excuses.

Seems like there was nothing in it but not what the club needs this week and to start the new year.
I love it. Walsh is a plucky little prick. He's just what we need up the back.

The bouncers handled it superbly.

Not a good few days for Broncos players. Walsh could be the new Kotoni if he isnt careful. Bit of a walking ego, which isnt a bad thing if he can control it.

We need to bring Fifita back on unders to sort out their differences. Or give them Haas’s full wage as compensation.
