**** BP I was just joking.
Hold your ground
......Big Pete's not THAT big.
**** BP I was just joking.
I just have this weird feeling that Bennett was foxing in the Bulldogs, Roosters and Storm games. I don't think he asked the players to deliberately under-perform, more so try a whole bunch of different tactics to see how the opposition would react. It was the perfect opportunity for it, top 2 was confirmed a few weeks out, those teams were confirmed for finals, etc. I'm hoping Bennett saw what he was looking for - he sure knew where the Cowboys were vulnerable and set about the perfect plan.
The Sharks were convicted and sentenced. Just because you, the poster doesn't feel that the punishment fitted the crime is no reason to question their performance this year. They have won on the back of hard graft, staying in games and grinding. They finished the regular season with a negative for and against so how any sane person could question their performance just amazes me. The 7 other teams all had better stats so how can anyone think the team performance should be questioned is just unreal.
If any teams performance should be questioned it is ours. We went from also rans with no real chance to premiership favourites. Naturally I think that's insane and of course we shouldn't be questioned but equally neither should the Sharks. The Sharks were punished for something that happened quite some years ago although the punishment was meted at the start of the year. Yes, the Sharks submitted, willingly to both a NRL imposed regime and their own testing which after the Dank saga was shockingly found wanting.
He sure did. Just don't point out weaknesses on the night.....
"Look at the right!!! They've gotta shift right!!! If they shift right, they're in!!"
Jinxing prick.
Enough with the constant jibes about being a Cronulla fan. You know perfectly well I support the Broncos above all others. I never wrote that I thought the bans were sufficient , that is a straight out lie. Enough of that too. I don't have to justify anything, I did not use illegal substances and I was not involved with Dank either. Direct your disgruntlement towards the NRL and ASADA , it was they who decided the Sharks fate.Yeah, "punished".
What I find ridiculous is the two year suspensions for cocaine use whilst Sharks fans like yourself think 3 games was sufficient for using peptides. Gallen just got to go on holiday earlier, that was his punishment? How can you justify that, Huge? I'm not saying they're still on drugs, I'm saying that Gallen and anyone else involved should have got the same punishment as Sandor Earl at the most. Paul Gallen is a blight on our game and anyone who can say he's a good bloke or that he was innocent (He plead guilty by the way, therefore admitting guilt) with a straight face is just as bad as a Bulldogs supporter. And they're fucking terrible.
**** off. They were in. IIRC someone dropped it? I called Hunt's too the moment the ball left the dummy-half's hands.
They trolin you bro don't take de bait. ( all spelling and grammatical errors were intentional ).Enough with the constant jibes about being a Cronulla fan. I have already indicated I didn't agree with the punishment but it is what it is. Trying to denigrate Cronulla's achievements because of some sense of outrage over the alleged use of peptides and the subsequent punishment is infantile and petty. You should be better than that.
I never said Gallen was innocent of wrongdoing although just like you ,I do not know the facts. I also never wrote Gallens a good bloke. I actually don't know him so how the **** would I know if he is a good bloke or not and I'm certain you don't have a clue either. They may have pleaded guilty but it does not mean they knowingly committed an offence and I tend to think they acted in good faith on the advice of the medicos and the club. Either way it is history and unless you have some great influence and can revive the matter, history is where it shall remain.
This is 2015. Irrespective of your outrage it happened years ago, has been dealt with and has absolutely no bearing on this season.
Ha ha ....believe it or not, I knew about the spelling ! He's entitled to his view no matter how irrational !They trolin you bro don't take de bait. ( all spelling and grammatical errors were intentional ).
Does anyone else think that I'm being irrational by thinking Gallen and the other players involved needed a longer suspension for being drugs cheats?
How to miss the point. You're being irrational because you want the current drug free team punished yet again and trying to link their gritty performance this year with the drug saga from years and years ago. You're trying to run them down because you didn't agree with the punishment. That is a seperate issue and a lot of people agree that in their opinion the punishment was too lenient . Yes, it is irrational because the case is closed, penalty served and this team is drug free and their achievement this year is untainted unless an unreasonable unthinking mind cannot move on.Does anyone else think that I'm being irrational by thinking Gallen and the other players involved needed a longer suspension for being drugs cheats?

Allan Langer, years ago got drunk and drove his car. He didn't get a huge fine or suspension. He did however serve his sentence or cop his punishment. We don't call him the drunk driver water boy for the Broncos....because we grew up and fucking moved on.
You are deciding they don't 'deserve' any success because of your view that they weren't punished severely enough, not that they weren't punished. It is 'your opinion' they should not be playing this season. However, you weren't the judge, you are not now the judge either nor do you have any clue as to how much they did in fact suffer. For you it is not enough that they forever wear the stigma of being called 'drug cheat' not to mention how much it cost the club in sponsorships, public relations and in other financial matters. You want further punishment because for you its never enough. If you really wanted to do something other than whinge you could have launched your own legal action about the punishment meted out.I think you're the one missing the point, mate. A lot of "unreasonable, unthinking minds" don't want to see the Sharks succeed whilst they have players who absolutely were not punished with an early holiday last year. They should not be playing this season, or the next and any success they do have, they do not deserve. Simple as that. I'm not linking their success this year to drug use at all.

You are entitled to that opinion however trying to link what happened years ago to this years success is petty and irrational.
Please quote where I wrote that the punishment was sufficient . Yes, you are irrational as you are reacting to something not said, written or claimed. Yes, if you are unhappy with the punishment, do something about it. Start a petition, anything. As you say I'm in the minority although I never thought it was the correct punishment either. That said, just like you I don't know all the details so maybe it was correct, who knows. One thing though, stick to what I wrote and don't change that to suit your hatred or anger. Just the facts and not emotional drivel that was never claimed. Irrational, absolutely. Rational would be to respond to what I wrote, not what you changed it to.Oh no, they have to live with the stigma of being called drug cheats? Maybe they shouldn't have taken drugs. One person was punished sufficiently and that was Sandor Earl. The other players got off too easy and the hypocrisy of whomever gave the punishment is ridiculous and absolutely should not be looked past. You're saying that a three game suspension and an early holiday was sufficient? That's complete bullshit Huge and you know it. I am not the only person who holds this opinion and I think you'll find that you're in the minority. The only people who are ok with that suspension are Sharks fans. I should take legal action? And you're calling me irrational? Fucking hell.
