Prior had a pretty good year, but if you are going to break the bank and spend 600k a season on a prop, then any one of the above list would be a better choice than Prior

Ludicrous..

Try and understand, when I suggested 600 it was a projected value in the higher salary cap time to come. It's not a current suggested value. In my opinion getting a guy who is absolutely killing it and is battle hardened and proven in big games when he still has several good years left would be a bonus.

I just don't think people have really been paying attention to him but watching him last season (2016) and having an appreciation of the work really good forwards like Blair do should be enough to convince anyone. Don't be surprised if he gets greater recognition in the future.

Prior is certainly solid and has great work ethic, but he isn't the line busting prop we need. McLean would've been great indeed!

Matt Prior is above average at his best. We need impact. Someone like Fifita but with a brain. Or a Burgess twin who uses their hands to catch instead of their elbows.

I wouldn't exactly say he was a machine..

He had some good moments. He wasn't bad, but he wasn't great either. He also fatigued quickly.

I have a feeling his time at the Broncos is coming to an end.. I just don't see him getting more game time, not with the likes of TPJ, Arrow, Ese'ese etc in the side.

This how I see our prop pecking order at the moment:

McGuire, Blair, TPJ, Ese'ese, Dodds, Ofahengaue, Fai, Hipgrave, Molo

Dodds might be ahead of TPJ and Ese'ese but we will have to wait until the season starts to see where he fits.
