Qld Cup 09

Maybe that could be because htey have 2 or 3 real standouts amongst a bunch of not so good players? [icon_razz1

Question - is this the TV game? Cause in the original draw it was slated for Sunday, only reason I could see them moving it to Saturday is if it was for the TV.

Will be good to see the kind of reception Cullen gets from the Redcliffe crowd.

Anyway yeah I'll avatar bet you (even though I am pretty sure the Fins will win)

Yep was changed to Saturday for TV.

Cullo's been in the crowd for a few Reddy home games this year, I'm sure Can Bar will give him a warm welcome back.

Dane Campbell is in a race against the clock to be fit for the clash against his old club. He hyper extended his knee in the Loss against Ippy.

Matt Geyer is making a comeback in the QLD Cup for Norths in todays match on the ABC today.

Geyer had a killer game. He was fantastic at 5/8.
The young winger on debut, Ogden was really good and good work to him for scoring 4 tries and getting man of the match.
Sim's was rather ordinary...
Wapau was.. Wapau... Got some nice offloads away but he did get knocked out early in the second half but came back on towards the end.
I'm liking the look of Matt Gillett. I read that the broncos have taken a bit of interest in him too.

Tigers up there this weekend I see. It'll be good for them to get a feel for the ground before returning there on September 12 icon_thumbs_u

I like the way you think Jeb (but trying not to get ahead of myself - they are still sitting just outside the 6, though a win this week could put them in 4th)

Was good to get a win over the Comets last week. They seem to be coming good at the right time!!

Wow to Easts Colts beating Redcliffe Colts 94-0 yesterday!!!!

Also congrats to the Dolphins with a decent win in Q-Cup thus avoiding the wooden spoon and in the process putting the mighty Tigers out of the finals :( On a Broncos related note - Hoffman had a really good game at FB for the phins.

And may I just reiterate what a great comp the Q Cup has been this season. The make up of the finals (top 6) came down to the final match of the preliminary rounds today. There is outstanding footy played in Q Cup every week and if you get the opportunity to watch any of this finals series - seriously do it people!!!!

Former Clydesdale's coach John Dixon has seen the light and has signed on to be the Dolphins coach in 2010 icon_thumbs_u

The Broncos aligned with Burleigh in the Q Cup this year, (Teo, Setu & Michaels) will be on the look out for a new home in 2010.

Burleigh have again realigned themselves with the Titans.

It will be interesting to see what the Broncos do with their fringe players next year. There is a push to have the majority back playing for one club (Some talk of re-inventing Wests or Brothers)
