Which is absolutely a fair enough point and I can appreciate he's got a few question marks around his character, so if that call has been made to cut him for that reason then fair enough and Bennett has to answer for that call whether it's right or wrong.

I'm just not convinced by any argument I've really seen yet that this was a footballing decision and not related to a change in attitude or culture because I think on his footballing deeds in 2020 and his previous deeds in an Origin jumper alone, he's absolutely worthy of a spot in that squad.

I'm not certain where the cultural concerns come from either, but I can't get my head around him being left out on his football alone as it just doesn't make sense, so if it isn't a culture issue either then what is it?

In the article they mention the QRL bosses discussing whether Moose would kick stones if he was in the 27 but not the 17.

So obviously there's some sort of fire to the rumours, or at the very least there's cause for concern.

The blokes I know that played with him never had an issue with him and it was about the time these rumours came up. I also couldn't see somebody so divisive winning a players player award. I just dont see his attitude as a problem.

Im not sure. Could be as simple as they just want to blood players for the future and they feel we have enough players similar to Moore

There's bad and bad if you know what I mean. Moose may not be the right for a tightly packed understrength QLD team going into a 3 week non-stop camp chock full of rookies at the end of a bloody awful year in Bennett's estimation, this wouldn't make him bad specifically but the team may be poorer for his inclusion. Whether that's because they think he's a punish in large doses, or drinks too long, or doesn't drink enough, or has too strong a personality to let the young guys forge their own path or any of a million other things I've absolutely no idea because I'm spitballing from a million miles away and don't know Moose or anything about what Bennett is thinking and why. All I mean to say is he can not be the right guy without being "bad."
