Thought i'd make a separate thread. Don't know how you got the team so quickly mrslong, i've been refreshing qrl.com.au like a madman for about ten minutes!

Billy Slater (Storm) 26, 8 Origins

Israel Folau (Broncos) 20, 3 Origins

Greg Inglis (Storm) 22, 7 Origins

Justin Hodges (Broncos) 27, 7 Origins

Darius Boyd (Dragons) 21, 2 Origins

Darren Lockyer (Broncos) 32, 27 Origins

Johnathan Thurston (Cowboys), 26, 12 Origins

Steve Price (Warriors) 35, 25 Origins

Cameron Smith (Storm) 26, 16 Origins

Petero Civoniceva (Panthers) 33, 23 Origins

Sam Thaiday (Broncos) 23, 6 Origins

Ashley Harrison (Titans) 28, 3 Origins

Dallas Johnson (Storm) 26, 9 Origins

Interchange:

Karmichael Hunt (Broncos) 22, 7 Origins

Michael Crocker (Rabbitohs) 28, 10 Origins

Ben Hannant (Bulldogs) 24, 3 Origins

Nate Myles (Roosters) 24, 9 Origins

Matt Scott 18th Man.

Courier Mail NNN, I think QRL servers crashed. That's why I got the typo, good old Courier Mail, in too much of ahurry to proof read their side to get it out first.

A Solid Team. SHame that Johnson is there though, I'd rather have Myles in the run on side, Harrison at 13 and Stagg on the bench. If Myles pulls up lame I am not too happy that Matt Scott is the replacement.

I think NSW have a real chance of causing an upset.

This has confirmed what I said in the NSW team thread - we should smash them. All fairly predictable selections really, based on form and past Origin performance. Class right across the park. Only question I have is about 18th man Matt Scott - Matt who?

17. MICHAEL CROCKER (RABBITOHS)

I like the team... Should Hodges be ruled out, i would bring in Tonga, he has been in great form

I expect Crocker or Myles will move into the starting line up come next Wednesday.

Gotta feel for Corey Parker, has been killing it all year and Crocker plays 2 games and is in the team.

Parker has sucked in his previous Origin experience, that will count against him.

I hope they do alot of team building etc this week.... it would be such a shame for a side like this to be too relaxed and expecting to win. The media is also going to make it very hard on them.

Great team though!

Doesn't count against Hodges. eusa_think

I think they're crazy if they don't start Hunt. Hopefully they're still planning to do that.

Other than that, can't really argue with it.

Hmm our team is way better than theirs, apart from 11 - 13. Their 11 - 13 shit all over ours. Our bench dominates tho

Also, suck a fart to hunt. Not the incumbent no more buddy.

I dis agree, one of them may move to start with Thaiday on the bench. but IMO there is no point using either Harrison or Johnson off the bench

I think they will same as last years games 2 and 3... that was pretty successful for us

Their 11-13? Two out of three are good - Harrison and Creagh. Gallen is a myth.

Harrison is sensational in our back row. Thaiday if he uses mongrel can be good too. Johnson is a workhorse, but wouldn't worry NSW at all.

Oh yeah, and having seen the teams? Queensland by 30. Easily.

Gallen a myth? Maybe in previous origins, but his form at club level is amazing right now. He concerns me.

Thaiday is playing shit atm, unless he plays 100% different to how he plays at the broncos, hes useless in the team

I'm happy for them to have Hunt on the bench. Slater is a good Origin player and is the Aus fullback. Hunt is much more versatile... they can play him around if needs be. But, I would like to see him play a fair portion of the game.
