I'm dirty on him for what i have heard regarding the way he did go about it. However he is a league player until October 31st (i think that's the date). As long as he is playing to the best of his ability he should be considered.

They are not going to pick him - what a shame.

I'm personally against not picking him but one good point I read in the paper was that if they DO pick him... SO much talk would be in the media about it and it wouldn't be right for the QLD team. i think that is a fair point - not picking him may be for the greater good.

However I would still pick him...

People always underrate Tate when it comes to Origin - he's an absolute machine for Queensland and you can almost discount his club form when considering him for selection.

But in saying that, it would make most sense to replace a winger with a winger.
