QLD Team

I know what you are saying Scotty, but this team is way to professional to act arrogant and think they have it in the bag. They will work hard, train hard and do everything to get the result.

It's for that reason I really cannot see us losing Game 1. Our team is absolutely faultless and NSW have so many question marks.

So many people are acting like arrogant tools about QLD getting 5 in a row like it's certain. It's exactly the sort of thing which will bite us on the arse, humility now, celebrate afterwards.

Despite the teams I would not at all be surprised if NSW caused an upset in Sydney.

Did you see the team NSW named??? _woohoo_

I agree, mate.

As good as the Queensland side is, anything can happen in Origin. Anything.

Yep. I'd take a 1 point win, honestly. Paper, schmaper...every one of the 34 players is above average as an nrl player. Anything can happen.

NSW could have been a chance if they picked a better side!

They are still a chance mate, particularly since it's in Sydney. If the game was in Brisbane I would be confident but I know winning down south is never in the bag.

They are a chance for sure, I think we should be confident though our team is superior.

Even Josh Perry?

Lockyer will keep them on track.

Had to laugh when they announced Folau "In fine form" or something like that lol Australian selectors!

mind you, the 2 NSW selectors that are on the Australian panel (also are selectors for NSW) selected Gallen as good enough to play for his country 2 weeks ago, but not good enough to play for his state

One comment that sinks that, is Game three last year. They did not approach that professionally, and imo were a little arrogant and threw away the chance of a whitewash. Hopefully they don't have the same attitude this time.

We did get genuinely stitched up by the ref in game 3 though. Penalty try to nsw, but then not even a penalty to us when nsw do the same thing TWICE to us, with one kick at the ball stopping a certain try.

I think it's obvious selectors don't get a say, the coach chooses the team. Selectors are there for looks, time and time again if the coach wants or doesn't want a player then that player will or will not be in the team.

Ref's were ordinary but they didn't cost us that game.

Waste of a bench spot with Cronk being selected. Would have gone with Tuqiri on the wing and Boyd at 14, or at the very least, Boyd at wing and Te'o or Parker on the bench. Hope it doesn't bite us in the arse.

I hope they don't pick Te'o at all this year, he will be very handy during the origin period.

Agree. Queensland don't need him. Brisbane does.
