Very ordinary performance from QLD. That said NSW have such a good team. Just ridiculous how good their team is. Burns looked very rusty for his 77. Needs to find some form fast.

Yeah, but he looked much better at the back end of his innings. It's probably not a bad time to be a little out of form. Probably better to let other guys get the jump against the better bowling attack of N.Z. then come in to play against the weaker W.I. bowling attack. Although it may not work out that way...

He needs to be in there for the first test or he will probably miss the summer because the selectors will want to stick with whoever they pick for the first test. Maybe him toughing it out and making a decent score is looked on kindly by selectors.

Reardon's second 100 and Burns and Khawaja making runs is good to see. Burns and Khawaja out cheaply after doing all the hard work.
