That's the first time since the new Matador Cup 'tournament' structure has been introduced that we haven't finished in the top 3. Given we got our test tour squad representatives back for the start of the tournament that is a very disappointing result. Not a great start for Phil Jaques.

I don't think a score was ever going to be enough; how he got them was going to dictate and how he stood up to this attack. He was very nervous start.
