Cowboys will give all Cowboys to the Blackhawks. They will be a Cowboys reserve grade with the Pride and Cutters relying on locals and their own players.
Weren’t we told this model doesn’t work anymore?

It probably doesnt work for some of the QCup clubs financially, but it probably gives the Cowboys and Blackhawks an advantage. I know some people disagree and will say about the financial aspect of it all, but if we are will to fund a similar plan i'd be all for it.
It will be interesting to see what the Dolphins do. How many will they send to the Capra's compared to Redcliffe.
Six to Dolphins six to Capras.
Blackhawks don't want it, but don't have a choice. Be interesting to see how it works. They're worried it will make them a strong team but not a strong club.
@1910 do you know if Cowboys are in full control of the club top to bottom now staff wise(essentially like a NSW cup team).
The Magpies didn't touch the ball for the first 10 minutes. The Dolphins just rolled them through the middle, 'earned' penalties and they'd score not long after. When the Magpies finally got themselves into the game with a scrappy try they failed to take the kick-off. By that point, the Dolphins brought their bench on and they were just punching holes through the middle.
It wasn't a good afternoon for Leota. Barely saw any ball and when he did he dropped it cold right as Taputoa made a clean break, passed it over the sideline, let in a try attempting an intercept and let their #14 burrow over after giving way a set restart on the last.
He was in good company, the back three kept turning the ball over and nobody played well.
If I had to pick a stand-out for the Magpies, I'd go with the Magpies #9 and captain Jacob Tinsley. On an afternoon where nothing was going the Magpies way, Jacob was always trying to change the tempo of the game with very limited opportunities.
I expect an improved performance next week against the Burleigh Bears. It's tough to imagine they'll give away the amount of penalties that they did to open the game.
