Maybe like Hunt has been good for the Broncos outside backs maybe Head can be good for Rogers/Madden.

I got a dumb question for you @1910... Where'd it go wrong for Souths? Was it just the 3 hooker rotation or were they simply just switched off?

I don't know, it's odd. WIth Mozer hurt I would have said Paix plays with Eggerling on the bench. I don't know why they needed coaching staff to play.
They weren't on at all. Very poor.

I think Te Kura can be pretty pleased with his effort on Sunday. I would have thought losing Mozer and three hookers playing minimal time would be disruptive for him but he handled it well in a badly beaten side did plenty of work for little result.
Paix 27 minutes, Eggerling 56 minutes and Isaac Luke 39 minutes- I am confused just watching it.
He played 52 minutes which is his most ever in Cup in 18 games and only missed two tackles when his team missed 37 and got beaten by 36.
Made the second most ground just five metres behind Fai. Tough gig and he handled it.

Has John Reuben played an NRL game yet? I swore he would've been close to debuting a couple years ago when he was with the sunny coast

He played on the 11th of June, but he's missed the game in PNG and the week after, I assume because he was next in line if Walsh didn't back up. So he's only missed two games technically.

This is what's in the paper if you're wondering. Note underlined. It's purely speculative:
"On the back of losing feeder club Norths Devils to the Dolphins, the Broncos could look to move in on Gold Coast Titans territory. The successful Burleigh Bears have been linked with the Broncos as a potential new feeder club for Brisbane. The Bears are set to be punted by the Titans as the Gold Coast NRL club pushes to field its own reserve grade team in next year’s Hostplus Cup competition."
"The Titans want to maintain an affiliate agreement with the Bears and Tweed Heads Seagulls without sending fringe players back to the clubs. However the Bears will be open to striking up an arrangement with the Broncos which would see Burleigh benefit by receiving players every weekend."
